Buddy at work, a nonsmoker, mentioned that one of his friends quit using a blu cig an electronic cigarette.
As I took another drag and coughed up yet another lung.

Googled and searched a few days, found ecf. Joined, asked questions, spent 20 hours a day for about a week smoking my brains out researching here and bought a provari.

Still using it today, it's been 3 yrs now.

I was an outdoor-only smoker since 1997. Last winter, Atlanta suffered its coldest winter in 30 yrs, and by January, I was sick to death of having to go out to the porch and freeze my buns off just to get my nic on. I had started looking into e-cigs during the previous summer, when a friend of my husband's gave me a Fin cigalike, and I hated it so I got an Njoy, though I didn't really like it much better. The extreme cold last winter prompted me to get a Blu, and I hated it even more than the other 2 I'd already tried; that ...... me off so much, I went to google to see what else I could find -- found this place, discovered the eRoll, so I got one of those. It took a couple more weeks to find an ejuice I liked, but once I did... it was only a few more weeks before I quit smoking.

I have had multiple lung problem, and my son was on the way so I decided it was time to quit cigarettes finally. I had seen the little e-cigs around in a few shops and did some research and decided to give it a shot. A friend of mine bought a kit for her father for Christmas which he did not want to use. All in all it was about a $200 kit, just coming with a couple basic ego batteries and a bunch of juice. She sold it to me for $50 and I was hooked. I used that kit for about 4 months until the first vapor shop opened in my hometown and then I purchased a VTR along with some more tanks (Which I have just retired now after nearly 2 years).

I quit dipping snuff last July and kept off it until around Thanksgiving. For some reason I ended up convincing myself that snus would be okay and soon found myself back with a dip in my mouth and just as addicted to nicotine and having something in my mouth. So I purchased an itaste vv v3 with a clearomizer and a couple different bottles of .8mg juice. That came close to satisfying both my nicotine addition (but not quite) and my oral fixation. I upgraded to an eleaf istick 20W and 12 mg juices and that seems to be working quite well. I expect I will keep moving down until I get to 0% and then decide if I need to keep enjoying the vapor clouds. So far I am.

I had "quit"....and restart my pack a day habit many times. Was considering quitting again...

Had a work trip, cab was picking me up at 330 am. Went outside to smoke while waiting for him, and was still finishing when he pulled up. He loaded my bags, then spent the 30 min drive to the airport showing off his itaste, talking up the benefits of vaping, and blowing delicious clouds.

I researched while on my trip, and bought my own itaste when I got home.

I wasn't enjoying smoking anymore. Tried to quit but became a bear most of the time lol. I was in town on day and saw a smoke shop noticed I was running low on smokes pulled in to grab a new pack and found my self looking at ecigs. 10 min later I walked out with a blister pack and some juice. Didn't get that pack of smokes still haven't bought it yet 4 months later.

I started vaping to quit smoking and lower my costs. Smoked for 33-years / vaping for 2.5 years. Took a couple of months to catch on to the gizzmos/devices and learn to use them correctly without flooding or burning them. The more I vaped the less I smoked until one day, I actually preferred the taste of vaping over cigarettes. In the beginning, it was a hit and miss - bad awful vape to way better flavor then smoking.

Mostly to save money and get my GF off my back. I was getting very tired of the 'Your cigarettes are so expensive' rants. Now they did cost the better part of 2 bucks more than hers, but I was smoking 3 or 4 packs a week, and she was going thru a pack a day. My neighbor was well into his third month of vape only, which was piquing my interest more and more, so one day when I was in the smoke shop to buy another pack of nails I decided 'What the Hay, I'll try it out..'

I spent less than 25 bucks on an eGo type of PV and a bottle of e-juice. I've smoked one half a cig in the past near 4 months. I've had a 'nail craving' a few times in that period, I just toke my PV a few times (and I have absolutely no desire to get nicotine free) and those cravings go up in the smoke that used to come from my coffin nails!
