I'm seeing a lot of people also saying that the cloud chasers are around 1% of the vaping public?
Not so much.
Where I live, it's more like 20% I would say.
And up north of where I live, it could be more like 40% or more.
Maybe it depends on where you live.
But I live in the area of the world that is probably the fastest-growing in terms of vaping.
And here, it's the cloud-chasers that are driving the growth.
Somebody commented here they have 4 vape stores in their area but never seen a vaper in the wild
...
Know who the real enemy is.
The vast majority of vape shops within 100 miles of me are owned by people using foreign high-end mods with foreign high-end RBAs.Depends on your definition of cloud chasing too DC2. I vape a 0.4 ohm dual coil setup on my Reo. It make a good solid cloud, specially when you compare that to a clearo or carto, but I don't consider it cloud chasing.
What are the folks you're talking about vaping?
Big Tobacco is ruining it for everybody. Big Pharma is ruining it for everybody. Hell, capitalism is ruining it for everybody.
Isn't a Reo also considered high end? Couldn't those who like to show off also show off their Reo's? In fact, I think there are several threads here dedicated for that, just as there are threads for Provari love and mech mod love. You can sub ohm with a Reo as well, and many Reo owners do.
... a free market.
im talking about the mongs who are sub-ohming at .07 or similar, building octo-coils, and in general behaving like obnoxious children
Interesting. I'm going to go out on a limb here and declare that I believe every single vape manufacturer and vape vendor is hoping to make some money. Where this sort of trade is concerned, even communists are capitalists. Without a profit to be made, there would be no product.
So, I will accept your statement regarding big pharma and big tobacco and add to it that I think they are more than somewhat aligned and allied with each other because they are feeling the threat of vaping to their bottom lines as specific capitalists who are hoping to protect their profits. However, I will wholeheartedly reject your claim that generic capitalists are, or the broad idea of capitalism is, somehow a threat to vaping and/or vapers. In fact, without capitalists, there would be no vaping.
(..snipped..) im talking about the mongs who are sub-ohming at .07 or similar, building octo-coils, and in general behaving like obnoxious children
If you want another story from gramps/me then behave. /lol /joke
Let me try bribery first: Come to Vegas and it would be my pleasure to buy the rounds with you and your SE. We can even toast/clank our respective REO's.
On a far more serious note: I could care less what device folks use. I could care less what topper they use. I could care less how they look. You should have seen ME in my 20s! /lol I could care less what juice they vape or weather their builds are 2 ohms or .5 ohms. I could care less weather they blow clouds large enough to fill times square. I embrace it all. If it's good for YOU then it's good for me. It's all good! ALL that ever matters to me is that "YOU" never return to cigs and practice safe battery procedures.
If gramps/moi still hasn't persuaded you in a respectful and civil manner maybe this will help. TODAY we face legislation via the FDA which has the potential to "wack" vaping in a very very very serious manner. Those who vape today and the millions upon millions of folks who may never get the opportunity to enjoy the benefits that WE currently enjoy. I'm proud and happy to demonstrate along side ALL my brothers and sisters. Even engage in non violent civil disobedience so go ahead and send gramps to jail for his vaping sit in. Given this it seems to me that we need each other like never before so it's time to "let it go"

The vast majority of vape shops within 100 miles of me are owned by people using foreign high-end mods with foreign high-end RBAs.
And often mostly filled with vapers using the same.
And within 100 miles of me there have to be at least 200 vape shops...
San Diego Vape Shops
Southern California Vape Shops
Did I mean to say RDAs then?Wow, that's a lot of vape shops!
RBAs huh. If they are cloud chasing with RBAs they are doping it wrong, no matter how much money they spent, LOL.
Obviously, I didn't read this entire diatribe, but it was clear after the first two sentences that the OP's point has alluded you.
