Welcome Scubabatdan. Please make yourself at home. (You realize this is a noob thread, right?)

Thanks, here are some of the m1.6 nuts from Ace Hardware:

And in this pic are the two on the left I "processed"

I simply bought 1 m1.6 bolt and locked two nuts against each other and ground them on my dremel.
So now they are beveled and round :) And here is a size comparison:

Does one need to be part of the Scubagen co-op in order to get in on this one? I am really interested in trying my hand at the SS wick conversions Scubabatdan was kind enough to write up in another post and I could use the materials.

im sure alot of people doing the scubagen have the parts, so not all of us will need the mesh... but id assume that anyone could, it would only help the quantity and get a better price id imagine

I'll do 5 3-wick pieces then. I'm sure I'll use them somewhere.

State of Confusion
I'm just kicking myself in the face for not having seen the Scubagen Co-op signup earlier. I can just hope that there will be another one soon.

Hang around, its always possible that someone will tire of it or won't be able to complete it or will sell theirs off. Won't be me though!

Awesomeness! Just out of curiosity damn what is it u do for a living if u dont mind me asking?

I find the innovative modders like u guys inspiring. Its inspired me to to try and invent things myself. Doing electrical work isn't too gratifying for me anymore, I mean everything I do is eventually covered by a big ugly slab of sheet rock

I don't see why not, the more the merrier (and maybe cheaper)

Current potential list

caillel 5
Mianker 5
Nicksvap3 5
harmonic 12
hillock 6
misterD 10
fenderbc 5
Harrygrowth 5
garnerjc 5

Piece size being 4 by 4.5 inches
You can add me to that list for 3 or more depending on the price. If its under $40 then definitely a good amount

If the coop goes off (looks promising) then we are thinking ~ 2 bucks per 4" x 4.5" piece plus shipping, which should make 3 wicks). A UK member that lives close to the company is talking with the vendor, to see how we can get the best price. If it ships from the UK, should be in the 2 - 4 dollar range for shipping per.

Current potential list

caillel 5
Mianker 5
Nicksvap3 5
harmonic 12
hillock 6
misterD 10
fenderbc 5
jimbalny 3 or more

Beautiful Dan, that's what I was thinking of too. Did you have any problem with spin-off or locking the threads after beveling?

Bulk o-rings from grainger - anything we can use? 7000 pieces for under $100

To quote Dan
O-rings:
The o-rings are 1/16” x ¾” OD, I got the o-rings from McMaster-Carr I am using the FDA compliant (Buna-N type) Part number 9555K17 @ 4.29 a pack of 25. You will need 4 o-rings per Unit.

4 per unit x 150units = 600 max

Thanks but too many
