I'm feeling a little skeptical about this mod. The dna 200 version has those strange battery reverse protection guards, from what I hear if your batteries aren't build with the wrapping perfectly centered then it might not fit correctly into the mod/make a solid connection. To me this seems like a good idea on paper but not so much irl. Also kinda worried the mod itself will kinda eat, or wear and tear, on the wrapping of my 18650's.
When it comes to the rx200 version I wonder just how accurate that chip is. I still wonder about the battery connectivity in this reuleaux mod. It just seems that most people who are having an issue with this mod, are having a battery connectivity issue.
I am in love with the look of the rx200 all black design. I don't like the colors of the dna 200w version. After seeing all the cool skins though it makes me think much less about the color schemes.
I want the dna 200 version but I do not like how they have implemented the reverse battery protection. Do you guys think Wismec is making a version 2 of the Reuleaux mod, Rx200/Dna200?

I got a Herakles plus tank and some 0.2 SS316 coil heads and I'd like to use temp control with them but my ipv3 LIVR does not do temp control for SS. I haven't heard about a "TCR" update for the ipv3 li. I'm kinda of in the market for a super accurate mod that can do temp control for SS. I do not like the look of the homewrecker.

If you think about number of units sold, vs. the number of issues reported, the odds are still very much in favor of getting a perfectly fine working unit......generally those with bad experience are the loudest.
As far as accuracy, I know from personal temp probe testing (done at the beginning of this thread) that it is as accurate as any mod I have tested to date, and that was before the 3.0 update came out, now you can set your own TCR, so you can make it as accurate as you want.

i used that earlier to preorder a solo mini for 32$ (46 CDN) and a VTC5 for 7$ (10 CDN), the rx200 is set but i want a replacement just in case, taste control sounds better than temp control tbh but the rx200 is awesome, i found that spaced 316l works better on v3.00 ss stetting spaced than contact, but it doesn't go to the watts steam engine says it would, it tastes burnt there. i should be pushing 70-90w on the dual coil 24g 10/11 wraps @.25 ohms but 42.5 seems to be the right spot... its annoying when you have to fiddle to much to get the right spot. the rx survived a 1m fall but the usb cable that was plugged in to that and my computer broke (i moved the computer without remembering i was charging the rx200 with it) guess i got lucky woulda sucked if it was the other way around, i kinda wish the Reuleaux was more sturdy.

Glad you got it to work QM. I couldn't pass it up for that price, besides my DNA200 died so I figured I'd upgrade to an RX200 for my high power device. SXM and ML are still running strong so I'm glad I can rely on them for my vaping pleasure in the mean time.
