mine too gets hot in the power switch area, even when vaping at 23w with a STM on it. i find that very disturbing. this issue and the fact that the newest software didnt fix the crap battery life have made me come to the decision that this is a paper weight and going in the not worth using drawer. good luck to all of you that still like this mod.

First in line when steam crave releases one.
I'll have to settle for a red/white Half Moon Mods drip tip till then.
The website shows single o-rings on the pix but they list doubles in the descriptions.

Hi guys, I just wanna know if is there such thing as fake RX200? I am planning to get it from aliexpress

Link 2

Thank you.

Genuine ones are only ~$40. Don't risk buying from a shady website and getting some POS fake.

I haven't heard of clones, but the prices in the provided links aren't all that low.

I've had my rx for a while now and it just started acting weird mainly wattage changing by itself, I'm talking just by sitting on a table and when I pick it up it'll be like 64.6 or 64.5 small but weird and last night not discharging equally. Last night I was wondering how it was dead so fast (I'm talking 6 hours tops) running it with my MX RTA at 65 watts casually using it... Checked the batts and one was 3.3 which was the second listed and the other 2 were 3.9. I'm on firmware 3.1 and after this fresh set I'm gonna check the voltages more often to see if it does it again. I was rather shocked at how low the one batt was that's for sure :\ Anyone else having weird stuff happen on the newest firmware? I HIGHLY doubt I'll run it at max, ever, so I might be going back a version...

@pierced: Wow! Which battery was low looking from the back? Left back (cell 1), right back (cell 3), or the one closest to you (Cell 2)? The RX200 is supposed to error and report Imbalanced error if any cell is more than 0.3v different. And when connected to UpdateWismec, what does the hardware version report (v1.00 and v1.04 are common)?

@BillW50 It was cell 3. I have hardware version 1.03 I rolled back the firmware because it kept changing my wattage on me still. Batts on the charger now are 4.1, 4.1, 3.7 *facepalm* I should've known something was up with how warm it was getting with just 1 second hits but it was late and I couldn't be bothered. Just glad nothing happened. Hoping no one else has had it happen because it kept chugging along thinking since 2 were at safe limits the 3rd must be and that could end horribly :\

So is it battery no. 2 that is put under the most stress in the series? When checking the remaining voltage of the batts with the RX200, I've always noticed that one is a bit lower than the others, e.g. 3.87, 3.8, 3.84. I have the batts labelled 1-3 and rotate their positions in the tray every time I recharge em.

I've had no problems with ver 3.0, (came on the device), or ver 3.1. *knocks on wood*
