I'll be darn. They did improve the 510. "To power your build, Wismec and Jay Bo listened to fans of their product and improved the 510 pin; The new Reuleaux now has a stainless steel spring loaded 510 connection."

Reuleaux RX200S 200W TC Box Mod by Wismec & Jay Bo Designs

To be fair.... it was never a problem with the pin.... it was the depth of the 510 threading itself that caused some tanks or drippers not to sit flush or make proper contact. I've had my RX200 for a while now and the pin itself still looks new.

I haven't had any issues with mine after replacing the stock 510 with a fat daddy vape one. Looks good and makes good tank for all my tanks.

I'm also curious if it is the same board as our RX200. If so, I'd be interested in an upgrade kit that included the display and front plate

edit: just looked at the official Wismec site.... pics posted look to have the same 510 pin as our RX200

Also looks like now they're rocking the DNA version battery tray.... I read numerous posts from DNA ppl that it ripped their battery wraps and caused weird battery related issues.

Only if you rip them out like Phil Busardo does in his video.

Haha, true. But I also remember reading before that flat top batteries have occasional connection problems. I remember watching Grimm a while ago and he said if he puts down the DNA to hard on the table it will shake the battery and cause it to turn off.

I'm hoping the cut the little cup around the positive slightly so it allows better clearance for contacts

I never changed my 510 and it has been basically trouble free. I just wanted more spring travel. Oh and yes a screen upgrade kit for a regular rx. However that being said if the current model can be found for less than 40, if the new isn't much more the upgrade kit would have to be dirt cheap.

I personally never had a problem with the 510 connection until I got the Gemini RTA and a couple of other tanks that have longer than normal 510 pins. I had to run a spacer to fill the gap between the RX200 and the tank. With that said, I have built OKL and Raptor mods before so I had some spare 510 connections laying around. Decided it was better to just upgrade the 510 on the RX200.

As for the upgrade. If I didn't already have 2 rx200, I would agree to buy the RX200s. But really I have no need for a 3rd RX mod.... I didn't even need the second one but I wanted to do some custom work on the body and didn't want to risk damaging my one and only RX at the time.

I'm sure I am not the only but that has a box full of mod, tanks, and RDA that is sitting in the closet. I really have no need for additional devices since my graveyard box is getting fuller by the month... especially if its the exact same mod but with a new screen on it.

I have another rx that I have never even opened. Guess because I haven't needed it. Yet lol. Vapocolypse preparations I guess.
But in the past I had a mod die without backup and had TO PAY at a b&m. I do have other mods but really like the rx form factor so the others just feel weird now. Would also like to lay my hands on an istick tc200. Not really to own but to compare. Other than an extra button and the eleaf gapping 510 it's basically an rx with a Lil different shape.

I also have two RX200 and they just sit with full batteries. And I will probably get the RX200S. Why?

Haha. I'm ready for the Vapocolypse... I have a box of VTC batteries and mechs... Some of them I've probably used once just to make sure it was DOA. Haha.

Got about 5+ regulated temp control mods not including the OKL and Raptor boxes I built. Haha.

Waiting for this FDA thing to hit the fan... Going to post all my old clone gear for higher than new real gear. Haha.

I only have one RX, so if I pull the trigger on this one it'll be an easier decision for me.

That said...
The rapid posting of VTC patches for the 3rd party editor is showing a number of feature, display and parameter settings that can be adjusted.
Some have equivalents on the smaller landscape screened JT mods, but the greater physical real estate and higher resolution (?) of the larger portrait screen mean more display options are available... I don't give a crap about a logo or having a skull or custom fonts (except this one rivals the Presa for sheer ugly out of the box  ).

It'll never rival Escribe, but if some real functionality options start showing up for the RXS... I'll be giving it some serious consideration. :D

Three rx200, one Reuleaux DNA 200, and a white rx200 on the way... Getting more and more batteries so I can have all my mods operational simultaneously is what's killing me...

I Sure Like the Larger Screen of the S! The Price Point is Right on! Looks Like the DNA200! But it's not like I Need another Right Quick! Just ordered a Red & Black RX200 should be here any day now!

My DNA200 and 3 RX200's have been Great with the SMOK TFV4's & The Crazy Coils that Go With! Plenty of Power to Push Em! Also with the Atlantic Mega Tanks with the Vaporesso cCell Ceramic Ni200 .2 ohm Coils! I'm a Fan!

Looking and finding answers to my questions is a hard thing to do. It's scattered and it's often different, based on all kinds of experiences/opinions. Tomorrow I'll receive my Rx200 and SS316L, and i would like to know if the following statements are correct;

The RX200 has - after updating to the new firmware (3.10) - the option to use a SS TC mode. This works when doing single coil SS. Correct?

When doing dual coil, it's required to manually set the TCR This TCR has to be 92, however, it can also be upto 130. This has to be found out by trial&error. So 92 is (as I am always using dual coil) not the proper setting. Correct?

When using the SS coil on TC, I can switch to Power mode and push as much wattages as I like my vape to be (depending on the coil build of course. Can't push 150w or more on some small micro coil which I understand). Switching back from power to TC, with the same coil being used is not an issue either. Correct?

No need to lock ohms on the RX when using SS TC ( I had a Yihi prior to the RX, used Ni200 and locking was mandatory on it. Is isn't with the RX I've read) Correct?

SS can still be used on semi-crazy builds on drippers such as Temple 30mm without issue. Correct?

Hope all of the statements/questions are answered with a "yes", if not I do have lots of more reading to do

Thanks in advance :)
