There is no right to free speech here. and it is disrespectful to invade a sellers space and knock his product. You can start any thread you want in general discussion. To act like Dave has to put up with you degrading his product in his own thread is ludicrous.

I'm not knocking the ProVari; I think it's a great (A)PV. I'm going to be buying one, after all. I did say that I thought the Vmax had an edge in that it can regulate 7.4 volts down where the Provari transforms 3.7 volts (mostly) up, but I don't see that as a big slam. More of a design consideration; the ProVari was designed to take one battery, the VMax to take two.

And I'm not sure about the "free speech" thing. I would think that as long as I obey the forum rules, I'm pretty much free to say things in any forum regardless of whether or not a particular member doesn't like it. You might be overstepping your boundaries there.

Stretchpants, that is a "like" that I did not expect, and am very happy to see. Very gracious of you, for sure.

Funny-ish thing is, until several posts ago i didn't even realize I was in the Provari Forum. (I guess I really don't read much). :)

Putting myself in you guys' shoes, I can fully appreciate how annoying it must be to have to listen about a Provari knock-off, and in retrospect, you've all been pretty cool about it overall.

jkm, I do regret coming on disproportionately strongly to what was really a pretty small challenge to the credibility of my opinion. I wasn't cutting you enough slack, and should have given more consideration to the venue; namely, the Provari Forum. Since we're soon going to be on the same team, I hope we can move forward amicably. (Virtual handshake offered).

Let me just also say that while I'm still relatively new to this, I've seen and read about a lot of APV's, and I haven't seen any that can top the ProVari. I think it will be the King of the APV's for a long time, and I am seriously looking forward to getting mine (And few other devices can also serve as a club if you need to defend yourself).

So that's it; thanks for tolerating our heresy, and vape on.

Lets just stop the complaining .This is Provapes forum which they pay for which means you dont have the right to say that stuff according to the rules. There is a whole forum to talk about someone elses replica than to do it in Provapes forum. If you think it can even compete with the provari thats your opinion ,im just saying a thread about it doesnt belong here. A company trying to copy anothers is bad enough without having talks about it on the company thats being ripped offs site. Having a electronics background i can almost assure you that it wont be close to the quality of a provari . THats of course just my educated opinion but you could find that out for yourself by trying it

After my last post, this is not the reply I expected. I think things are nicely under control, and it's been a very interesting discussion so far.

And I haven't detected much complaining in this thread lately, although yours tends to stand out.

I'm a little unclear about this "you dont have the right to say that stuff according to the rules" bit. I just looked for the rules, and I couldn't find them. If there's a rule against talking in this forum about a competing mod that has very much to do with the Provari, then I'd like to see it. Until then, I'm going to continue to discuss it as I choose to, pursuant to the rules of the ECF.

Can anyone direct me to a place where I can view the ProVape Forum rules about saying anything that might remotely be perceived as an affront to the Provari, or any device made by ProVape?

Thanks in advance.

A, A
A friend of mine already got his hands on one.
It seems that it has a clicky button and a similar menu that we interface with the same button.
Sounds familiar? Guess so...

It has vent holes for venting but introducing this type of mod (with stacking) where a "newb" could get is hands on...It's a disaster waiting to happen.
Be prepared my friends.

I know next to nothing on this, but maybe because when stacked batts fail in a box mod, it fails more 'gracefully' (less painfully?) than a (sometimes unvented, sometimes insufficiently vented) tube mod. As you mention, I haven't seen much said on box mod failure, so don't know what really happens in those cases.

Not nervous.
In the EU there never was a device so "available" with stacked batteries

Anyway,if you want to see it (menus and all) here's a link:

OHMYVAPE.COM | The vape World, in one spot! – Smoktech V-max.. A preview!
(not my site)

Will not cross the street anymore. In the EU there never have been so many cars.

This is a mod with all the security systems build in. Isues with stacked mods of this type will be as frequent as an airplain falling on your house.

vmax looks janky

Come on, really? I'm not sure you're even trying to be objective. It looks fine to me, not that looking is any substitute for holding, and using.
