Hope you have button top batteries. My mistake when I got mine was that I only had flat tops and had to order new batteries + wait a week for them to arrive. Nobody carried them locally. It was torture! I think it's impossible to explain why they have fans until you've tried one. Enjoy!

Good morning everyone.
I was starting to think I was almost ready for some breakfast until FQ mentioned those two casseroles, now I think I'll wait a bit until the nausea from just thinking about them goes away. LOL

Provari arrived, dripping attys did not and they were ordered first with an expected delivery date of today. :( Provari wasn't due until tomorrow. First impression is that it is much smaller than I expected, glad I didn't order the mini. batteries charging so any other thoughts will have to wait a while. :)

YIPPEEE! You have TEETH! This should be a celebration. A lot of the buffets put on a special spread and well worth it. If you can, go earlier in the day to avoid some of the crowds. If there is a casino around, head there. They always do a spectacular job with buffets or even in their resturants because it's a loss-leader to get people in the doors to gamble (which is easy to ignore). I think you'll be surprised with how many places are open. A few will require reservations that normally don't because a lot of people go out for dinner, so it never hurts to call around for hours, best time for shortest wait etc.

Chistmas eve is when nothing is open except Dennys. That's when I like to drive around and look at lights because it's so eerie with no cars, no signs of life. My experience with hotels is that they only have skeleton staff and menus on Christmas. Most guests are there to see relatives with other places to go, business people make it home and so it's the odd traveler (like flight crews) that get stuck in hotels for meals, i.e. day old sandwhiches.

Don't skimp on the buffet. Your making up for missing Thanksgiving too.

Last week I had my dentures fine tuned. I had not worn them all week because I was not up to dealing with it if they still were not fitting right. So today I wore them and made salad with grilled chicken for dinner. And of course, for desert I practiced again with the cashews and pistachios. So far, so good. No pain tonight so tomorrow I will see if I can wear them all day and eat. Looks like I am making some progress on this front.

I wonder if any restaurants are open for Christmas. I doubt it.

I didnt' have any batteries that size so I ordered them along with the Provari so I know they are the right ones. :)
I'm just waiting, waiting, waiting for them to charge. I do have flat tops for the SID but they are the 18650s and I may be replacing them with button top as well since one of them doesn't work all that well in the SID, I have to fiddle to get it to fire sometimes. I've spoken with others with SID and they say they had the same problem with flat tops in theirs but button tops cured it.

I am so disappointed that my drippers didn't show up today, I was all set to embark on my first dripping experience.

Thinking seriously about trying one of the Aurora BFT's so I can have a tank and stop cooking juice, it gets really good reviews so far.

I know Golden Coral isn't a top tier restaurant, but they put on a wonderful holiday spread and their turkey is excellent, nice and juicy, not dry, or at least it is at our closest one. I doubt there are any casinos in TN.

I am so ticked that your teeth are finally working out Shari. :)

I'm not knocking Golden Coral or Hometown Buffett. Their holiday spreads are great and they do put an extra effort out for the event. The SE areas are strange for me the few times I've been there. I couldn't even figure out how to order a drink in Oklahoma. Private clubs? Buy the bottle? Kansas and Nebraska had a picture of Jesus above every bed. It feels like a foriegn country. Sure, I'll have "grits" with my steak instead of a baked potatoe with sour cream. Are you kidding me? Even small/medium-sized towns have a casino nearby here. I really hate the sound of slots and the darkness after living in Reno. But they do have their perks; food and 2 drink minimum shows. They wouldn't stay in business with most of their customers like me. Their buffets are klller. 5 star quality even in resturants for medium prices. I think there's casinos from Blaine to San Diego, from Great Falls to El Paso.

LOL Think about me moving here 15 years ago from southern Cal, it was like moving to another planet, but I do know that gambling in any form is beyond illegal in TN so I seriously doubt there are any casinos here except on the reservation in the Smoky Mts. You aren't even allowed to own a working antique slot machine here. They only began allowing liquor by the drink last year and still no bottle sales in our county, beyond beer, until last year you could not buy beer on Sundays. None of that really matters to me anymore though since we both quit drinking 8 years ago. Funny since I quit smoking I crave a drink from time to time now, didn't before, I really miss margaritas.

I like it a lot, it's a strange juice though, it really really goes through a lot of changes as it steeps. Fresh all I tasted was peanuts, and after a week or so the sweetness started coming out, now it's pretty complex and difficult for me to describe but I like it, some say mapley but almost everyone likes it, even Cliff. He said it was kind of like a Marlboro, but honestly I don't really taste tobacco, but my taster is odd anyway. It is a little higher priced because it contains tobacco absolute and the price of that has gone way up.

I like strong flavors, I think I remember you saying you did too, the mild flavored vapes just don't do it for me, and i apparently really like complex flavors, which kinda sux cause that makes DIY a real pain. lol

So far I have liked everything I've tried from Nicoticket, maybe not fresh out of the box but after they steep a little, The Creme Brulee was too strong on the vanilla side at first and now it's a requirement in my arsenal, the Custard's Last Stand was good to me fresh, haven't had it long enough to know about steeped, the Grandma's Cinnamon Danish was wonderful from the get go, and amazingly enough I really like the Gravity even though it is a fruit vape, it's not an ADV for me, I use it like a palate cleanser when my ADVs start tasting meh and bingo tastebuds are wide awake again.

Thing is with H1N1 if you don't like it after it's steeped there are plenty of people who will buy it from you, depending on the nic level.
Oh another thing I have noticed there is that I don't need nearly as high a nic level as I do with other juices, I wouldn't recommend anything over 12 mg, in fact I get 12, which is what I am still vaping most of the time, and 6mg and am perfectly content. Clark says if you want him to ruin a juice just order 24mg. LOL
Bet this was a lot more than you wanted to know, lol.

Claudia, I seem to remember that you ordered some H1N1 from Nicoticket a little while back. How did you like it?

Any ideas welcome! Must have broccoli casserole and green bean casserole (blech!!) for the girls, anything else is up for grabs.

Dominoes.

DD1 and DD2 will be happy and you can bring out your mad scientist lab to create new juices. Win-win. (There was a 50% off coupon on the website last week. Dunno if it's still there).

I appreciate you taking the time to review H1N1 for me. I was on the verge of buying some when Clark took it off the site due to the issue of getting the tobacco absolute. I noticed that it's back again, but with a higher price due to the shortage. CLS and Creme Brulee turned out not to be my cup of tea, but they are good quality juices and Clark provides wonderful customer service. I'm thinking of grabbing some of the Snickerdoodle and/or Grandma's Cinnamon Danish.

You are very welcome and I plan to try the Snickerdoodle too, don't be alarmed if you don't see it on the menu as I think he is thinking about changing the name to just doodle. I love the cinnamon danish, I waver between that and the creme brulee as my ADV. He is planning on having the OR3O back shortly after Christmas, if not a little sooner, he tries to keep the number of flavors at a minimum, with one spot rotating flavors, so he doesn't get overwhelmed mixing. It's just him and his wife doing all the work.

I remember when I first started ordering from Nicoticket he had a lot of flavors. He was so swamped with orders he was becoming sleepless and burnt out just trying to keep from getting way behind and having big shipping delays. He streamlined his product list down to the most popular flavors while rotating in some the discontinued flavors on a temporary basis. One thing about Clark, he's all about keeping his customers happy. :)

Yes he is, I put off ordering from him because I was a little overwhelmed by his lead time statement, but honestly the longest it has taken any order to arrive has been 3 days from the minute I made the order, another thing he routinely does is overfill bottles. I haven't had one that leaked either, every order has been fast and easy and tasty.

The only Golden Corral in our area closed a couple of months ago; it was all of a sudden too. No casinos, closest one is almost 4 hours away so that is out. I will get on the internet and look around. We probably won't go anywhere but it is a possibility.

So far I am happy with my teeth. No pain yet but I have not eaten yet today. I think this is going to work out after all. I am quite happy about it. Now I have to get used to having teeth in my mouth. Feels like I have a baseball in there. lol

Nicoticket seems to be a real good vendor. I see almost no complaints or customer service problems. Clark has gone out of his way to try to accommodate the poor Mrs. Ts people that have not seen their orders for two months. That, to me, is a great gesture. I think that is why he created his Snickerdoodle, although I am not sure on that. I know he extended an invitation to those poor people to try his juices.

Claudia, how exciting that you received your Provari and it stinks that the RBA did not get to you today. Hopefully tomorrow. You must let us know your thoughts on it and if it is all that is being said about it. I am hoping DH is going to offer to get me one after Christmas. I have my fingers crossed. One of my spinners finally died today. That means the others are probably not far behind. I do want to get a device that is not battery dependent. I would rather spend money on batteries than devices. How heavy is the full sized Provari? And what color did you get?

Shari, I can't believe you prefer your Spinners to your MVP2. Is it because they're what you got used to, or because you find them easier for dripping? I love my Zmax and I'm VW all the way. I've thought about getting an MVP for a long time, but didn't because they were only VV. Now that the MVP2 has VW I really want to get one. I found a site where they only cost $39.99 and I was seriously about to pull the trigger on one when I saw they were out of the blue ones that I want. I guess I'll wait til those are back in stock.

I would love to but DH loves it here and I am a little attached to him after 20 years. I am working on him to consider WA so we can be closer to my son and dil and new grandbaby. So far no luck. Give me time.
