Ok, today I called the lawyers office to see if they needed to update the judge on my TIA, so they checked my file online with the court and a decision has been made as of January 16th. They explained that is all they know so far. A decision is made, now it goes to some clerks office that will send out a packet with the results of the decision. The clerk has a a deadline but, they will have at least a month to do their job. The paralegal said that I should start calling her again in 2 weeks, she will be able to see the result online once the clerk works my file, before it gets to them or me. More jeopardy music for me.

So, another step forward, but no detailed info. My future still hanging in the balance.

I want a Jacuzzi. Just don't know where to put it so that I can get in and out of it. If I can afford it (decision in my favor), that is my gift to me, and of course figure out the in and out part. I had one when I was living in South Florida, attached to my pool, I never went in the pool but I used the Jacuzzi every day. I can get a pool guy to clean it if I have to, I will have to get a cover for it. A must for sore muscles and bones. I hope I can figure it out. I guess I can have a wood deck type of thing, off my bedroom, make a door going out to the deck, someway to get in and out. I'll start researching once i know.

Best idea, have a pool boy full time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! poolboy.jpg

Oh wow just read my signature banner.

6 months smoke free!

Bananas and cucumbers welcome, but let's remember that it's all due to my friends in this thread, and not so much my part. . .

Sorry, FQ, couldn't find any dancing cucumbers...will these do?

:rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll:

One for each month you've been smoke-free. Congratulations :toast:

Karen something to remember if you've never had a jacuzzi before, I had one like what you are talking about and the lids absorb water over time and become very very heavy. the cover on mine was very difficult for me to get off and on by myself and I was pretty fit then.
I hope all goes well and your decision was positive.

And im upset. Bought cigarettes because that is something I can control.
Internet is out. Indiana has a state wide outage fr my provider. I dont libe in indiana, so the outage/emergency contact system does not notify me. I cannot register more than one address for the system. Im told I need to pay my bill to re-establish internet when I called. (Paid bill on the 4th.. and prepaid February since I had the money)

Water company illegally shut off water. Never sent us notices about late payment. Last bill we got was in November that we paid. They claim we have used 60000 gallons of water in 30 days. They claim they read the meter in person but the bill shows round 100 numbers. So it cant be read in person unless they arw reading it then guessing usage.

I hada cover for the Jacuzzi, that folded in half at my first house in Boca Raton, I used it everyday before and after my surgery, I remember it was hard to get in and out, The cover wasn't heavy but then again I was a lot younger and much stronger. Almost healthy other than the back surgery. I think I remember I was able to open one side onto the other without taking the cover off. I think I will need to get a free standing Jacuzzi that has to have custom woodwork around to make it easy for me to get in and out. I'm just not sure how that can be done. If I wheel up to it I need to be at the same height sitting to get in and out I have an old wheel chair I can get wet.

maybe a step in bathtub thing that has jacuzzi jets, must be a fortune, they show it on TV, I like a regular jacuzzi for the jets and whirlpool, God, I hope the decision was in my favor. I can't really travel, don't need a lot of stuff, this is my one big thing. I think it would help to ease some pain, it used to help a lot.

you brought up a very good point Top! Control, I never equated it to my smoking, only eating. Something for me to think about.
I'm sorry you are having so much trouble, I understand having stuff turned off.

check to see if their is a city or county agency that helps with utility bills, Here we have for disabled, elderly, and families with children under 5 years. dial 211 first call for help, The United Way

Karen, if you want you can look into a disability chair lift for a hottub/ pool. I know hotels in florida are required to have one available for guests. You can look into them if you want a hottub. They have automatic and manual pumps to lift. Manual obes are cheaper. Or you can try price comparison with jacuzzi tubs for bathroom.

Take a spin around the bath dept of Home Depot and Lowe's. They have some great Jacuzzi bathtubs with heaters for much cheaper than what you are talking about. They may even have a walkin setup. I have not personally looked for years, but I do know you can get heated jetted tubs. If you get an air jetted tub you can use all the bubble bath you want. Can not do that with a regular Jacuzzi tub, ruins the plumbing or jets. I have a regular Jacuzzi tub in my master bathroom that is not heated. It is worthless. By the time you fill it and run the jets the water gets cold real quick. You need a heated one. Not as expensive as I thought they would be. Easier for you to get in and out of. Not as much water to heat.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Haven't checked in in a couple days, it's feels good to be welcomed with open arms. Only 1 analog in the past 4 days and starting to feel a lot better. The only problem I've been having is since I've been smoking less my anxiety has been acting up, hopefully it subside the longer I go without one. Just gotta deal with it for now.

Sounds like you are doing a great job there. Yeah, that anxiety thing can be rough in the beginning. I like to drip; it keeps my hands busy. For me it was a 'now what do I do with this time' or what do I do with myself during those normal smoking times. I kept a pen to play with in my hand all the time. I kept a small notepad I could doodle on. I also found myself eating hard candy, something I never did a lot of before. Drink lots of water. I tried to vape when/where I would smoke. I did not let myself vape in the house for months. I also never smoked in the house so that was easy for me.

Being on ECF and posting and reading here helped a lot. Occasionally I found I would want a cigarette from just reading certain threads. If I started feeling that way I would just have to leave the thread and search out a different topic.

You are doing fine. Keep connected here. Find something about vaping you want to learn more about. Researching new stuff would keep my mind busy.

The bananas look funny on my phone, each one is on a separate line and not actually dancing but in mid pose.

Still waiting on water company to turn on water. They have the medical paperwork needed ti not shut off water even if we didnt pay. Now they saud on the phone it was a mistake and it may take 3 additional days. .. I may have to start calling my way up the chain of command, or talk to the legal department if that doesn't work.

We had one of those and they require an able bodied person to use. My late hubby was a paraplegic and we had a jacuzzi, it was not easy to get him out of it, getting in was a snap.

Good Morning!!!!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

I will be looking at the jacuzzi bathtubs think I have a better chance of getting in and out of those, plus, I don't need chemicals. I don't need pool guy (he was cute though), and I won't need to start building a deck.
I just have to see if there is enough room. I think there is.

Mark, I don't know what's going on but, stay strong, I hope nothing but the best for you! Don't forget, you still have the cup!

Nice to see you, Jess. Hope all is well with you and yours. How's everything coming along with your son's trip?
Hey Thaya!! Things are going pretty good for me, My son's dad finally caved and gave us what we needed to get the passport and permission for the trip, so my Son get to go to Europe in July! We are all so excited, its just coming up with the funds now.

 im more of a fruit / candy person now i dont miss the baccy flavors at all
I not crazy about the baccy flavors either, I like some fruit and loooots of vanilla.

There's 2 malls within 5 minutes. A Wal Mart super center and a strip mall in the edge of town. Some great restaurants a few of which were featured on the travel channel and food network. I scored valentines reservations at one last year and again for this year :thumb: It's a town of about 2000 totally flat in a valley surrounded by mountains. Everyone knows me and Jazz actually got bumped ahead of 3 or 4 people at the garage last week ;) Almost no crime and low taxes. 100 miles from Philly, 45 minutes from Hershey, an hour from Harrisburg or Scranton. 3 hours to Manhattan or Baltimore.
The drawback is the coal dirt. It's everywhere. Can't keep cars or windows or even your house clean. There's some luxury items you can't get like pate or faux gras. But groceries are reasonable and you can actually buy freshly butchered meat or even half a steer if inclined.
I love small town life :)
We are pretty close then. I'm in York, not a small town but I am 30 mins from Harrisburg, 45 from Hershey, 45-and hour from Baltimore, 45 to Gettysburg and about 30 to Lancaster.

I know this Lox. But this is DH's FRIEND. DH thinks that the sun rises and sets around this bum. Guess I should let you know that DH and I are not married. Together 20 years but I have no rights, no say, no nothing. Moving out is not an option. It is what it is. I work with it. I am too old to stand on a street corner to make money. So this is his show. I am the bad guy, always.

Surprise, surprise! The 'friend' did not show up this morning. DH yelled at me because now he may have to pay to have pipe fixed, friend may have done it for nothing. Yeah right. No estimate, no verbal estimate, he is going to hose dh. Some friend. DH is now over their begging him to come back and finish job. I give up.
(((((HUGS)))))

Was at the hospital for a bit last night, TIA again, got script for Plavix pick up tomorrow at hospital pharmacy, they let me vape with door closed once all CAT Scan, Echo, Ultrasound tests were done. Let me leave early for a ride home. just relaxing now. will be checking in, no worries. I'm ok now.

anyone got a cigarette? some salt? more sugar? Life is tough
((((HUGS))))

Good Morning!
