I had that at some point too - I figured out it was the wicking, i.e. over-saturated (flooding), check your wicking maybe put more down the channels. I take it yours leaks when on it's side (a sure sign)?

Havent tried it on its side, let it sit overnight with high vg juice in and now it doesnt spit so much. Happy it keeps up with wicking even with 80+vg juices. That feeling when you take a long hard pull and get hot liquid in your mouth.

Gonna take a closer look when its time to rewick it, will test leaking out first

don't know if we want to count this as a vertical, so i didn't put it in the vertical coil thread, but without further ado.

quad slanted nano coil(1.2mm ID), 28 gauge, 10 wrap. came to .4 ohm

sry i didn't do a pic of it firing. but it works pretty nice. i thought that i was going to have a problem with my wicking method but its spot on. no leaking and no dry hits.

I've had the same build in mine for a week now. 26g, 2.5mm dual coils, horizontal. It's tight but no shorts at all, and the best flavor I've gotten so far. Also not a single leak from screw or AFC, not a drop, and not a single dry hit, I have left it in the car for hours, gone from cold to hot, carried it all sorts of places and leave it on it's side every night. Best tank ever?

Narrdarr, how did you wick it? I have tried a few different ways, wrapping from the post to the outside and around to each juice well worked best of any I have tried.

so i ran my cotton through the coil leaving alittle at the bottom of the coil( i ran it from the bottom up, so its easy to keep the bottom ends fluffy). just enough to have about 1/3 of the cotton to barely sit in the channel.

on the top i leave enough to fold over the top/outside of coil and run the cotton to where the juice comes onto the deck. just lay gently and groom the ends to where towards the juice channels, but don't push them down in the channel. then simply clear the wick away from where the air air flows. put some juice on. test fire. enjoy.
