It's the 1.2 tho right, the older one? Looks weird in that pic, like the stainless steel is faceted or something? Major differences between the 2.0 and 1.2?
The one they have is the updated one. 1.2 or v2 isn't really official just what ppl are calling the updated version
Updated version come with both tank sizes and taller chimney, better screws, removed ud logo and added goblin logo from what I've seen

For anyone that wants to know I emailed vendors asking about the two versions and everyone said the 2.0 and 1.2 are exactly the same. Also in regards to the insulator, with 26g, 2.5mm dual coils at .5 ohms I just dry burned and rewicked after a week of heavy use and the insulator looks fine and dandy.
Great improvement for me - the 4.2 ml. tanks.. I have a .32 build with duals of 25.g kanthal @ 2.5 mm. in one of my Goblins.
I don't have to refill every few hours any more.
Even better - This fills a lot faster and Zero mess while doing it.
Triangle, where I bought mine is out right now and a great vender to do business with.
I asked if they would be interested in carrying the new new HCigar DNA 40 device. He will be checking into it I'm sure.
If HCigar can do a few slight improvements to that device on its next revision that is supposed to be out soon, my 2 Goblins will have separate homes.
My SXMini sees all my toppers these days. It can use some relief.

After striking out online, I googled "Goblin RTA Houston", and found a local shop that had one in stock, along with a Lemo, Melo tank and some other cool stuff. Got it home and opened it, and it had the larger tank and chimney included! First build was too big, chimney wouldn't fit over the coils, so with the help of that awesome Trevor Jones tutorial I finally got it right. 24g Kanthal, 2mm 8 wraps, 0.5ohms. Wicks and fires like a charm. I'll post pics in a bit. Thanks for everyone's input on this!

yea the vertical coils open up the airflow to the max. there is a little on it somewhere in this thread, but a couple of us have been using this thread for vertical coils in the goblin. fyi wicking is a challenge.

Whoa! I just received the Goblin yesterday and this RTA is just what I've been searching for. I'm using the 5ml glass section that came with it. I have a 0.74 to a 0.8 build on it, depending on what you choose to believe, my Ohm meter or my iTaste MVP3 box mod. Dual coil 26 ga Kanthal at 11 wraps each, wrapped on one of the small freebee screw drivers that come with RBAs/RTAs (don't know the size of those things).
I'm not one to create clean coil builds but the Goblin seems to be quite forgiving. I put some Japanese cotton in and feathered it down each of the 4 juice wells, about 1/3 of the way down on each one. I'm using a 90/10 VG/PG mix at 4mg nic. The Goblin seems to have no trouble wicking this juice and I have not encountered a dry hit as yet. No leaking. No gurgling. No juice in mouth yucky stuff.
Seriously contemplating selling off my Kayfun V4 HCigar clone. PM me if interested. BTW, is there a place on the forum for selling used gear or is that a no-no on this forum? Not sure.

BTW, I heard from a vape shop owner that Youde is coming up with a large version for 26650 mods, sometime end of March. It's called the Goliath. It will feature a large build deck. Hopefully, we'll be able to use 24 ga and larger in it.

I don't think its going to be for 26650 mods. It still appears to be 22mm, maybe 23 to me.
The deck has two posts, which should allow for much larger coils. Looks like it would be easier for ni200 builds for sure.

Just updating my previous post with some pics of the Goblin. I also am using the 5ml juice tank, makes a difference, I don't have to refill every couple hours. Still burns through juice pretty quickly, but not horrible. Overall I love it, only had 1 or 2 dry hits during the week or so I've had it. I vape it around 20w usually, although I've gone up to 38 watts, but that's a super hot vape though. My coils came out to 0.5ohms the first time (with dual 24G coils), 0.8 the second time (with dual 28g, 8 wraps, no pic of this one), and 0.4ohms with the dual twisted 30g coils.
