Thanks for replies. Yes I found out KF4 parts fit goblin, but am not too sure about that KF chimney, it doesn't look normal and I'm not sure if it's enough to wick properly as my goblin sucks juice real quick. Anyway, if I won't find anything else I will try buying KFV4 clone and making a hybrid.

Eddie, I am more interested if any kayfun/orchid/lemo/aqua/subtank or another popular atomizer parts fit goblin as the assortment would be a lot bigger then. :) Nano, belly, colored, glass, full metal caps etc! :)

Been using goblin for the past 3 months and it's simpy the best. Think I'm in love.

I've tried my spare KF4 clone on the goblin base as a hybrid, it worked OK, but I went back to using the 3ml configuration for the goblin. One of the things I like best about the goblin is the compact size.

I don't know if I'd recommend picking up a kf4 clone simply to use the parts for a goblin tank though. I guess if you get one for $15-20, but any more than that and you might as well just get a different RTA that holds more juice.

You've never been in love, have you? hehe I don't want a different RTA. I love me goblin!

Anyway, forgive my ignorance. I've owned it for 3 months and never once thought that I could remove the ring above AFC and screw something else there. *duh!* I never remove it when rebuilding and totes forgot it even existed!
I've screwed on Kayfun bell cap that I owned from my old Kayfun (which I sold) and it fits nicely, and am also pretty sure it's all kayfun parts compatible, which takes it to a whole new level of possible modifications. :) I will look for super mega big kit. :D Long chimney, long tank. :p

Looks nifty, eh? :p Green as a goblin should be!

Green Goblin looks cool :)

If you go with k4 chimney, 7ml steel: https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10011913/2227404-stainless-steel-tank-center-post-for-kayfun-v4. 6ml glass: SvoeMesto Kayfun V4 long glass tank kit - Cloud 9 Vaping

I still haven't tried it but it occurs to me that use of k4 chimney ought to mean different filling options, and access to build deck with full tank.

Different filling options would be nice - I still haven't got a filling option that doesn't result in juice backing up out the fill hole.

I've fitted the K4 tank to the goblin and so far am really pleased with it. To answer Claire's point, the k4 chimney seems to have no effect on wicking.

I like the access on demand to the build deck.

I've not tried top filling it yet, assuming it will leak out the airholes. I've been filling with a needle in the base of the tank which, for me, is an improvement cos I no longer have floods out the drip tip or fill hole while filling. These last two problems have been getting worse for me recently - no idea why - making the goblin virtually unuseable.

I think it looks excellent, but maybe that's just cos I like the look of the k4. A 6ml extension kit arrived in the vape mail this morning, which is going on when I finish the current tank.

Thanks Claire for making me look into this, and thunderdan for feedback. I think I'll keep this set up and get a new k4 tank from gearbest.

When someone comes up with a top fill design they'll make a fortune if the atty is good.

Really incredible manufacturers are not jumping on the bandwagon for this design.
The Lemo 2 does it beautifully. The only thing I don't like about it is the too big chamber, robs flavor, still a great atty.

No dry hits and no leaking when on it's side all night... only slight leaking from the fill hole screw. I wouldn't cut the wick any longer than described... cuts off airflow a lot.
Sometimes it takes me 2-3x trying to get the right wick density in the coils. Too little or too much and I get dry hits.
Too much wick in the channel also leads to dry hits. I'm using 50/50 and have yet to put too little in the channel.

Thanks, hopefully this answered my question as to why after a full week of solid vaping i'm suddenly getting nothing but burnt cotton.

Has anyone got their hands on the Cthulhu RTA yet? I have one in the mail and wondering how the build deck size compares to the Goblin. The juice channels seem wider too. I'm hoping I can get a higher resistance coil in here (more surface area) + extra juice for wicking should allow more vapour than what I've managed on the Goblin (which is substantial don't get me wrong!), one can always hope for more :)
TVC had compared them

Just got a goblin today, really loving it other than the leaks, blows the subtank I got last week away completely. The air hole leaks are probably 100% my fault since this is my 1st time building a RTA and pretty sure I butchered wicking it.

For the goblin make sure your wicks aren't too near or touch the airholes. That is a sure fire way for leaks.

moved the coils up slightly and rewicked it, this time I wet the wick and formed the wicks into the channels instead of trying to lay them in the channels dry and it's cooperating much better this time. No leak and wicking smoothly @ 30w

Anyone know if gearbest will restock or if Goblins are officially out of production?

I had a FT clone being processed that I promptly cancelled after comparing pictures of the positive post and insulator of authentic vs clone. So now I'm looking for an authentic without spending too much.

I want it specifically to make a Gobfun 4. Goblin build deck and airflow with easy deck access as well as both fill options, solid steel construction.

All I know is what I read on a UK forum dated 11th May. Quote follows:

"Went on to gearbest chat to cancel my Goliath order and also asked about my Goblin. Was told they won't be getting the Goblin back in stock so I'm being refunded. The guy said youde aren't producing them anymore. Just a wee heads up for anyone waiting on one from gearbest.

Quote:Robert: sorry, it will never restock now
Robert: the supplier will never product it now
Robert: we are sorry for that..."
