Just looking at the design makes me think it'll work well... Doesn't look great for flavor chasers or ni200 builds... But the fact that he got it before it came out makes me take pause... I'll wait till it's been out for a while.... Youde makes good stuff but not super high quality in build quality... So I'll wait to see until more people get it

What have u tried tank wise? Must not be building it correctly because you can get every bit of flavor with a tank as with a dripper... Get some practice... In a couple months you'll learn how

I'd tend to agree with you and the previous posters in regards to flavor from a tank. What I generally don't get is the air flow and large scale vapor production I do with a dripper.

I've have seen from personal experience, and enough consensus polls to know that RTA's or tank rba's (Kayfun etc) are known for "better" (more pronounced) flavor than RDA's.
RDA's are known for huge air and huge vapor production. Some are more flavorful than others; i.e. Magma, which has under coil air, and also different chamber specs come into play.
Dual coil and big air in a dripper usually means more vapor but not necessarily more flavor.

That's why I have stuck with mostly single coil RTA's, and now we are seeing in the Goblin, not only dual coils, but dual air (under coil air too!), and huge air.

Some RTA's are not to my liking if they don't have at least 2mm air draw, but I'm not about to sacrifice flavor for air/vapor....

The question is do we get the flavor boost (of a tank), along with the air/vapor boost?

It's a good question I can't answer yet but I'd guess no. I don't think the dual coil matters since my Fogger 4.1s are capable of amazing flavor. I think part of the reason for the strong flavor from the RTAS is the reduced air flow. My Igo-W4s are also capable of amazing flavor and a well built RSST rocks the flavor. All have reduced air flow. It'll be interesting finding out though.

We'll find out tomorrow! =) The second it gets here (around 3:30 PST) Ill build it and post pics and a review and comparisons.
Ill compare flavor to the Lemo Drop and Aqua V2, the two tanks that give me the best flavor, unless someone specifically wants a comparison to a Kayfun V4, SqR, ErlK, etc.

Very ambitious! I am going back to work after 3 weeks off so I imagine it's going to be a really, really long work day tomorrow!

interesting^
I just ordered an Aqua2 (FT footoon per thread on it). Lemo D I believe, and the Aquav2 are dual coil tanks. I'm used to single coil tanks, and I know they are starting to open up the air flow (and add more coils, and under coil air).
Until now i've only tried single RTA and some of the first gen RTA's the air was only about 1.8mm.... not enough imo,
but like i said earlier, the Prometey3 has 2mm so does the Tilemahos and they are a great improvement imo.

I'll have to try the Goblin against these ^... or if someone has either.

I think the Atlantis is not so hot imo... its a tank, and it has big air, single coil, but the flavor doesn't measure up. Its a little better if i drip into the d/t to supplement whats in the tank... :)

Lemo and Lemo Drop are single coil while the Aqua V2 is dual. I thoroughly not expecting flavor to be as good on the Goblin as the Aqua v2, that is a high benchmark to beat, but I didnt buy it to be my flavor chaser. I am just now getting back into tanks after dripping the past year and a half with only occasional tank use, now im using tanks a lot so I wanted one that I can get dripper-esque airflow with.

Mine came in today from Triangle, and did my first build on it. Only been through half a tank on that initial build, so my impressions are just preliminary/subject to revision.

Positives:

1. Same excellent build quality and packaging as every other UD product. I have about a dozen of their tanks and drippers, and have always been impressed with what they deliver for the money.

2. The airflow is excellent. Wide open it’s a cloud maker on the order of a wide open dripper. Even with it half closed I can still get a good lung hit. Most ample airflow I’ve ever encountered in a tank.

3. Bottom fill screw is easy to remove (it is more like a threaded plug than a screw).

4. Very compact size. Nice clean lines that looks good on pretty much everything.

5. Post holes are nicely sized, and the screws hold the wire very well without cutting it.

6. No dry hits, leaking or flooding. I’m using my current favorite cotton (Fantasea) on a 0.5ohm build. Not a fussy tank when it comes to wick placement.

Minuses:

1. Post screws are tiny. I can see the heads stripping after a lot of use. You get a spare in the spares kit, but only one.

2. Build deck is cramped. Had to yank out my first build since I made the coils 2.5mm, which is too fat to fit between the post and the chimney wall. 2mm fits; 1.5 would be better. The cramped deck gives me pause to try this with a Ni200 build.

3. Glass is just a little bit smaller than the T5 and T7 glass. I think the glass will be interchangeable since it’s floating on o-rings (usual UD design) but need to test it to see if it leaks.

4. Flavor so far is decent but not outstanding. But, need to try a few other builds before I can say that for sure, however.

5. Lots of crackling! It’s one of the noisier tanks I’ve used.

6. Fill hole is small, so you have to use a syringe with a thin needle to let air escape. Even so, you have to fill it slowly.

Overall: well worth the money, and I’m looking forward to trying out different builds and wicks with it. Look forward to others' impressions.

First thing I'll say right off the bat, this thing makes the Atlantis feel constricted lol.
The deck is VERY small though, going to have to find what builds will work best in such confined quarters.
