I contacted eciggity (where I got my goblin from) about the replacement screws. Got a response saying that they're already on the way and that I should check back at the end of the week and that they would take care of me. So definitely check with where you purchased your goblin from about obtaining replacement screws.

I have a question about filling on the Goblin. I haven't used it much, but 2 out of the 4 fills I've done so far I've had leaking out the drip tip. I don't get anything out the airflow holes. When I fill I hold the device upside down and fill. I'm thinking it's the chimney oring, but in that case I feel the goblin wouldn't be working properly. After the fill I have to wipe the drip tip and drip tip housing, but it vapes fine after, no additional leaking. I've also left the goblin on a its side with no leaking.

I'm thinking it could be the bottle I'm using to fill, the tip may be too big and making a seal while I'm filling causing too much pressure in the tank. It feels that way. This has happened on my KFL. Or may I not be filling it quick enough? I've wicked it like Trevor jones and it's working well so I don't think it's a wicking issue. Any ideas? Thanks.

I'm guessing it's the bottle or way you're filling. I fill with a syringe and do not have this problem, though it's a slow fill. I've had this problem on other tanks.
Thanks for the reply. I used the same bottle and took a bit more care in the next few fills. I didn't have any leaking. The liquid I'm using a bit on the thicker side and filling slower helped.

My 1.1 arrived today and it was locked solid. I needed water pump pliers to free the top cap from the glass section.

The chimney was challenging. Freeing the 2 sections took time in the freezer followed by boiling water and it still needed water pump pliers on each section before they freed up. And they're not big enough for my pliers. I needed to remove the o ring on the top chimney section so as to not hurt it too much with the pliers. The o ring looks less happy than when it arrived but the long chimney section has an oring on it and 1mm x 5mm o rings can't be that expensive.

For me, a newbie with a few weeks experience on a kayfun v4, the deck looks tiny. Might need to buy stronger reading glasses to work with it. :)

Right. Put it aside for a couple of days till I get a drip tip for it, and read this thread, and watch Trevor's vid again, then I'll see if I have the fine motor skills to build it.

A good vape mail day; my Lemo arrived today also.

Thought I'd throw in my 2 cents.

I managed to get my Goblin 1.1 from BAVapes today, I saw someone mention earlier that they got the stock update email and then they were sold out 12 hours later, I was also one of the lucky ones to be awake when the email came haha!

So far I'm loving it, it's very well made, I haven't had the screw issues other people have mentioned at all, so maybe they changed the screws slightly in this revision? I would take pictures but it's all built up at the minute.

Speaking of which, it took a few tries to get some decent flavour out of it. I always start high and work down the ohms when I get a new atty to find the sweet spot, started with a .8 28g build, with a fair amount of cotton into the channels, and I got pretty much no flavour! I threw that in and went to work with it and was extremely disappointed. I worked down through 26g, 24g, less wick, more wick, and ended up getting the best results with twisted 26g, 2mm diameter, 7 wraps coming in at .35 ohms as reported by a Vaporshark. And I hit flavour city! it was a massive difference, the combination of twisted wire and only going about a 1/3 down the juice channels with cotton, it's hitting extremely well at 40 watts.

And also yes, the 1.1 comes with an extended glass and chimney piece that makes it roughly the same height as a Kayfun Lite, which was an awesome move by Youde as it does indeed drink juice like a drain pipe!

I went through a learning experience on this one too. I found the best was (as with the Fogger I have) to not plug the channels with cotton - if it doesn't wick well the flavor is muted. My current build only has a very small amount in the channels, the trick is to get it right else it floods or leaks when on it's side. I currently have a .43 ohm 26awg 2.5mm dual coil - next build will be 2mm as the 2.5 is restricting the airflow.

I talked with mt baker vapor today, apparently they have no intention of carrying the goblin parts.
I'm pretty much checking with all the vendors that sell the goblin.

Sorry to hear that!

This is my reply from Triangle regarding the same inquiry:

"I do have replacement screws coming, will post here when they arrive and how to get them
http://facebook.com/TriangleVape "

Different vendors, different customer service.. That's what it boils down to.

That's ......ed. I talked with them 2 days ago, as that's where I bought mine.

You folks buying screws may want to check the Fastenal website to see if you have a local store. They carry the smaller sized metric fasteners and can generally have stock sent to the local outlets for pickup in a day or two at no additional charge. YMMV

Don't forget the set screws use a .9mm allen wrench. Really small and not in most sets.

Sounds like you have a bad chimney o-ring. Or its running out the wick channels. I've ran about 80 mls of juice through mine with no leaks.
Did you put a little juice on your o-rings after you washed it. Just residue from your fingers is enough to lube them, so you get a better seal and prevent chipping and dry rot. The tips on my bottles will seal up if I stick it in too far (lol) and the juice won't won't even come out of the bottle.
