Hey guys, after a few trial and errors, I may have found a fix for the fill hole/screw leak issue.

Will I couldn't find an O-Ring small enough to fit right so off to the hardware store we go. What I found that's been working for me so far is getting a pack of "Heat Shrink" tubes, 3/32"-3/64 is what you should get. I then cut a piece about 1.5mm - 2mm long. It will be a snug fit but it will fit. Manuver it all the way up to the treads and your done. No need to add heat on this setup. I also pickup a 3/16"-3/32" just in case and if you want to use that you may need some heat to shrink it down to size.

I still have no camera near by but I'll post some pics soon. Try it out. I haven't had a leak from that area since I add the heat shrink tube...for me it work out great and I hope it will help you too.

OK. This is just weird now. Only half built and still getting low resistance. I should be reading 0.8 right now. Everything is tightened down and nothing is touching.. Giving up for the night. I consede defeat!

if your using the guide i put up. then if you have half the build done (as in if you only have two coils on) then answer is yes. the resistance goes down with each coil you add. so once you have all 4 coils on it should read .4 ohm.

OK I found out what the problem REALLY was, and I feel pretty dumb for it. The local vape shop was out of 28g kanthal the other day so I said "aww hell just give me some nichrome". The lady at the shop sold me some Ni200 (which it turns out, is not nichrome at all) and I took off.

After looking up the specs though..

Resistance (ohms per ft @ 68 deg F)
Ni200
28 Gauge - 0.3778
30 Gauge - 0.6
32 Gauge - 0.9375

Kanthal
26 Gauge - 3.31
28 Gauge - 5.27
30 Gauge - 8.36
32 Gauge - 13.1

No wonder I am getting "low resistance"!! I just built quads with wire that's .37 ohms per foot!

I palm my own face so no one else has to.

Dude, you don't even have NiChrome... They gave you Ni200 aka. "non-resistance" Nickel wire. The stuff used fot temperature control devices. I'd go back and make sure they know the difference. If you had built that on a Mech mod and fired it, you very possibly could have vented a battery!

..Not cool...

Thanks for the idea. I've been searching all over the house trying to find something that would fit. I took my piece of tape off from covering the screw lastnight after I refilled slowly and dried threads real good inside and out and juice was on my mod again this morning . Ill see if I can find some heat shrink tubing soon.

Yeah... I realized that after looking up the specs. I am taking it back to them today, and making sure they know the difference. I never used that stuff before, so I ASSUMED (you know what happens when you assume) it was just another kind of NiChrome, which I have used countless times.

Bad on them for giving me the wrong stuff, bad on me for not double checking them..

@rowsley, Yeah I have all 3 of my Goblins hooked up that way now and I have a life time supply of it. If you fit it just right it will seal very well so take your time, it's a tiny little thing. I'll test the 3/16"-3/32" and see how it fits. It's bigger than the fill screw so I will have to apply some heat to shrink it down to fit.

Went to my local vape shop today, they have a new line of 97% VG juice that "is for drippers only". I said challenge accepted, rewicked my dual coil goblin TJ style, filled it up with their "dripper only" juice, and its wicking, keeping up nicely. This tank never ceases to amaze.

Got my Goblin today from JK Vapes; right now I'm in vape heaven, the flavor and clouds are something else. I will tell you that before I took my first vape on the Goblin I was extremely frustrated. The build deck in the video looks hugh, but in reality I found it rather restricted. I wanted my build to come out around 1.2 - 1.5 ohms. To accomplish this took 10 winds of 28 ga. on a 2mm rod. Even on a 2.4mm rod I was having a problem trying to keep the coils from shorting out. One of the video's indicated a problem using smaller guage wire for coils, it seems the problem is the screws that come with the unit. No matter how gently I tightened the screws, I repeatedly broke off the legs of the coils. I understand UD has replacement screws that should solve this problem. Bottom line, yes it was frustrating, but it was well worth it. Comments and suggestions welcome.

Unless you got an old Goblin from them yours should have the updated screws. I got mine back in February SN#2688 and it had the updated screws.

Got the quad 28g build done.. Came out to .3 on the Sig150. What a difference in airflow! Will post some pics tomorrow. It's hitting like a champ at 55 watts. Cotton candy in the tank right now, and the flavor isn't all there, but after the cotton wears in, I can already tell the flavor is going to be great. Thanks for posting that quad build, it's a keeper!

The tank works well even with thicker liquids. I think a lot of it has to do with the small deck design along with the large channels. You don't have any issues with higher voltage on a regulated when it's wicking either. It's definitely a slow fill with high vg in this tank though.

Yeah I've been vaping 90%vg all day in it and it's a very tedious task to fill even with a needle, with 50/50 juice it only takes me about 10 seconds...Wicks great though, would be nice if the Goliath made some improvements on filling.

I apologize if this has already been posted...

If anyone is looking for a goblin they have them in stock here for the goofy price of $20.18: http://www.gearbest.com/electronic-cigarettes/pp_146017.html

I've never ordered from gearbest, so buyer beware.

I bought three of them tonight from Gear Best. Have bought from them before with excellent results. Just tired of messing with leaky Lemo's.

How about drip tips for these tanks as it appears they come without? Suggestions?

Got mine today, and threw a decent little dual 28gauge micro build on there 0.7 ohms @ 26W, the deck is pretty small but I think it's very manageable. I think I'm going to have to rewick it here pretty quick though, it spits quite a bit of juice at me and I have a little gurgling when I take a hit. I hate gurgling and having coils spit at me, would you guys suggest getting some more wick in there to help stop the spitting and gurgles? I did have the strands pretty loose in the coil and the tails are quite thin but I'm using max vg too
