I made a mix berry juice sometime last week as a SnV. I vaped most of it and it tasted good, but not very strong or flavorful at all. I noticed it turned yellowish and I was like. Okay cool, maybe it's stronger now. I tried some and it tastes like the smell putrid rotting meat. Like smelling a...
Hey everyone! I've been making my own e liquid for a while. But I got to wondering, how long do I need to steep it if at all? My usual blend is 94% vg 6% pg.
Hi everyone, so I was advised to post this here. I've recently brought a did starter kit from Drip Hacks which seems to be very good and have heard nothing but great reviews of their stuff. I did everything on the instructions and the recommended steeping is 7 days. This is a tropical mix but...
I recently bought myself some Drip Hacks Congo Bongo, a diy starter kit, as I've heard a billion great reviews of their kits. I did everything in the instructions and a 1 week steep was recommended, but it still smells slightly chemical-y plus looking a bit cloudy. Does it just need more time or...
Welcome back to the work week and hello from a snowy Chicago ...
This week we want to share information about a popular vaping topic - Steeping you Vape Juice!
If your favorite e juice flavor has lost its punch or you're trying to take your vaping to the next level, now is the perfect time to...
I have been on and off the vaping for a few years all the while smoking. So i have decided to try make my own flavours. It could be nothing to worry about except my impatience but the eliquid has a strange taste but no flavour i used 30ml total for 3x10ml flavours (brown sugar, maple pecan and...
Hi, I am new to vaping (coming from cigarettes) I ordered 4 juices at first and they all tasted great. So I went wild and ordered a bunch more from two different companies (different than the first) and none of them had flavor, zero flavor. That is how I found out about steeping. While I waited...
So I just got some juice and it's not tasting the way I like it. I think it needs to be steeped. I was going to put it out in the sun for a while. But I wasn't sure if it would damage it. Does anybody know a quick way to steep e-juice
Thank you
There seems to be a lot of controversy concerning the use of heated and unheated Ultrasonic Cleaners [UC] for the steeping of DIY juice. I haven't managed to perform a blind scientific test yet with real life juice scenarios as I don't have enough available kit, but I hope to do this soon once I...
Hey all good to be here.
Id like to ask if anyone knows if i make a juice out of one single flavor (any flavor) is there a neccessity to steep it at all? Cause maybe steeping is just for multiple flavors or is for mixing into the rest of the compnents.... no idea.
Sorry for the ignorance
Would...

I am in the process of creating an experiment using heated steeping. I will post a new thread with my whole results when im done. But for now, i found this link to be very useful as a starting reference. He uses i think five flavors.
I've decided to enhance the steeping process of my liquids with a sonic cleaner.
If anyone out there does that, how long do they have to be in the cleaner to get a good steep? Do you still need to let the liquids sit in a dark place a week afterwards? And how long do you leave them in the cleaner?
I decided to try to separate my ingredients into two bottles for separate steeping. One was the creams/custards, one was everything else.
Ever heard of doing this? I know they all end up in the same place in the end, but maybe?
I've heard of making a large amount of a base then pulling out...
Quick question-- If I'm only using one flavor (LB Cappuccino), is steeping necessary? If so, for about how long? I swore off buying store bought e-liquid. I'm hoping I don't have to buy another while this steeps for 20 days.
Thanks.
If you steep your mixtures do you leave the top off, not or some of the time. Or does it depend on flavors.
I know some don’t steep fruits much or at all and custards need a couple of weeks.
I’ve shaken the bottle a few times during each day but not sure about taking the topper off the let...
oops. Part III got locked.
It's here - Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III
Thanks for getting it started @bobalex
So my $30 Harbor Freight cheapazz UC lasted from May 2013 until December 2017
I'd say that's a pretty good run and I got my money's worth X10
I got this to replace it...
