Thank you so much everybody for the congrats. Wille, the Glennlivit and flowers were very much appreciated! It really was a very nice day, even with the pouring rain. And I got to make a delicious dinner without burning it! Think I'm going to like cooking with gas!

Thanks! No, I'll still be mixing in the same place - right next to the sink. Wouldn't it be nice though to have a little room just for mixing! The kitchen is the same size it was before, but the cabinets are much more useable because of the pull out shelves. Now there's no need to get on the floor to reach into the back corners so it's definitely an improvement. I'll probably be shuffling stuff around for awhile.

I can agree with the one bullet for a politician, but the rest is BS pure and simple. I don't know where some people get the idea that there is central heating and AC in prison. That's pure falsehood. Cable TV and all the health care you need? Another myth propagated by God knows who? You have to be damned near dead before they'll do anything for you, and sometimes they just let you die and say "Oh well"

Nope, you won't pay any more income taxes, but it's just not what people think it is. Sheesh

Looks that way. A gallon for $180 ain't bad either. A gallon of nic in the freezer and I'd be set for life. Probably should break it down into smaller, usable sizes though. I am sorely tempted. Is their NIC ok? I still have a liter from MFS that I haven't even cracked the seal on yet. If I got a gallon I don't think 2Legs would have to worry about the law in Washington State effecting his supply. Did anybody notice their selling 250mg/ml Nic as well. A gallon of that would last two or three of us forever.

Say @Ken_A can this link be found in some cached archives. It's a link to the 'Social Groups' forum in the old ECF. Txtumbleweed posted his poems there and now they're gone because the admins did not bring those forum groups to the new ECF. Would be nice to get copies of his poems to preserve them.

@classwife that would be nice if it's still being considered/worked on. But just a few days ago retired1 said they wouldn't be.

We've attempted 3 times to import the old stuff and it's just not taking. Unfortunately, the old social forums will not have the content imported.

And at the time, while we had every reason to believe the information would import correctly, it just isn't the case. Sorry.

If we need to create an In Memorium blog / page on the New ECF because TX old ECF poems and what not can't be transferred, I don't see any reason not to .. I believe Randall's legacy here on ECF should be preserved as best as possible ... he would really appreciate that ..

I am still trying to find out what the vote meant for Washington state. Don't know if the voted to adopt the amendments or they passed the bill. I heard they had a public meeting back in April on it and they had so many people against it it filled 4 rooms but they went ahead with it anyway to save the kids.
