First build and thoughts on the UD Aga-t7
Perhaps this RTA doesn't belong here, as one could say it isn't high end. However, the machining is up to those standards, and the vape sure meets those expectations as well. It has a beautiful polished finish, perfect threading, gold plated 510 positive pin and disc for the two positive posts. I can't believe I only paid $20 for this! The flavor is every bit as fantastic as several other attys I own.
Pros:
1. Flavor!
2. Machining quality
3. Glass tank
4. Top fill
5. Afc ring has just the right amount of tension. It moves easily, but stays where I put it
6. Adjustable airflow. More a mouth to lung atty, but full open couldn't be considered tight. I have it about 2/3 open right now after trying different settings.
7. Price!
8. Definitely a unique and innovative design. I've never seen a deck like this.
Cons:
1. Top fills using a tiny grub screw. So will be a pain to fill. Could also lose it very easily. I need to source some extras.
2. Not quiet. Maybe slightly quieter than the Erlk.
3. Extremely tall! With the dt I put on, its as tall as my black copper Stingray in 18650 mode. So it dwarfs a mech in a smaller configuration and makes an 18650 mech into a light saber, lol! It will go onto a regulated mod as soon as I have a new one.
My build
I must admit, this deck had me stumped for awhile. There are two short posts across from each other, one positive and one negative. And two tall posts across from each other, one positive and one negative. I finally decided to stack my coils so they would both be over the airhole. I also wanted a fairly big diameter as I thought leaking might be a problem. I used two 2.5mm coils, 28g, 7 wraps. Total resistance was 0.9ohms.
I put the lower coil on first and set it at a diagonal to make it easier to wick. I checked it on my ohm meter, then lit it up on the mod because I knew once the second coil was in place I wouldn't be able to tweak it again.
Then I set the top coil right over it and set it diagonally in the opposite direction, so I had an X.
I felt I should wick it Eviva-t style; basically, make a nest with my wicks. Bottom coil's wick:
Then I did the top coil. I also cleared the wick away from the 4 juice slots a little.
Primed it, checked the vapor, assembled tank, filled and am enjoying immenseley
The verdict? If you can live with the cons, buy it! It ranks right up there in flavor. I don't know what other builds I may design for this, but I'm sure I'll be experimenting.
