Not exactly.
They need to be designed or modified for bottom feed.

Well, technically one can use any dripper, just like with a milled REO. But as you said, only those that are modified for bottom feeding can be used as bottom feeding atties. Otherwise the bottom feeding feature won't work & it's just a simple mechanical box mod.

Sure, but that kind of defeats the point of a bottom feeder.

I don't really see that putting much of a dent in REO's, most people that want a Lexus but can only afford a Hyundai weren't Lexus customers to begin with. With something like this more people that couldn't buy an REO can check out the idea cheaper and if they like it they can move up.

understand, so still have to use the rta that come with it.

btw, can give me a link to REO that u guys talking about.

There's one in every crowd.

Some people are smart enough to know that "Lexus" is a brand name used only in the US market.
Everywhere else it's just a Toyota. Slap a flashy name on it, some brand hype, and the US market will think it's a premium brand and pay more for it.

Some people can afford a Lexus but choose to spend their money wisely.
Hyundai has a better warrant than Toyota.

Bad mixed car analogies aside, you can spend the purported $70.00 on crap and end up with crap. Or you can spend a bit more and know what you will be getting based on years of track record for durability & reliability, available replacement and upgrade parts, and customer service. Or "Not crap". But please don't try to claim this thing is a Reo, just with a different name, and that's the only difference. (Does this "Hyundai" bottom feeder even come with a warranty?)

I think these are more in the $50 range. I think they will be descent for a modder. A couple more buck in materials and a couple hours work, and you could have yourself a pretty good bottom feeder.

One of the good things about a cheaper bottom feeder entering the market, with more users bottom feeding, atty availability should increase.

Not entirely true...Everywhere else, Lexus is regarded as the luxury brand in the Toyota stable....Just like the Infinity from Opel (or Vauxhall)...

I would just like to say I think it's pretty sad folks are commenting in this thread in the hopes of seeing Reo users "blow up" over this. Personally, I'm going to take the high road and not feed the trolls in the hopes my fellow Reonauts will do the same.
We all know our beloved Reos can't be beat and Rob offers customer service second-to-none. That's more than enough to satisfy me.

Very well put! I started to comment earlier but decided not to, but I will certainly comment in support of this one!! This absolutely does NOT need to turn into a bash fest from either side. Sad there should even be "sides" I hate seeing it compared to a Reo though, even in vids you can see if doesn't come close to the quality of a Reo, even though the design has been copied for the most part.

Forgive my ignorance, but do the majority of atty makers who get cloned, go to the trouble and expense of getting patents on their designs?

Personally, I hope Rob can either shut these guys down or extract his pound of flesh - but I don't know anything about patent law. REO's Mods isn't some faceless ivory-tower corporation - it's a hard-working guy who risked everything to bring his creation to market. He builds one of the simplest, most reliable mods available and sells them at a fair price, and takes excellent care of his customers. I wouldn't give 2 cents for one of these - it would be like stabbing Rob in the back. No thanks.

I'll be watching this clone/replica/counterfeit/economy version/rip off/tribute/etc/etc. I have always wanted a Reo Grand but certainly do not need one. I have about a dozen mech mods, a mixture of clone and authentic, and they all work great. So as fantastic a device as the Reo is I just can't justify buying one at this particular point in time. If, however, this device is affordable and gets good reviews I might consider it. Seems like a good way to see if the Reo Grand system works for me before I buy the real deal.

No offense but......
After watching REOnauts belittle others and fanatically re enforce their mantra that "all is inferior to the almighty REO", what do you expect?
Even mods get in on the action. Everyone here knows exactly what im saying.

Seems to me you could be reading more into it than intended. (easy on the interwebz in text)

Or you're allowing the few to represent the collective.

Reonauts are generally a very friendly, helpful group.

Now that p-thingy cult... they are a different story altogether. [emoji14]

Oh... and all IS inferior to the almighty reo grand (except the device pictured above with them) ... that's my story and I'm sticking to it. ;)

With all the legislation being introduced in several states and the constantly present black cloud known as the FDA I'm thinking long term and if people who want to stock up on mods had to choose to stock up on these clones or Reo's I would beg them to stock up on Reo's. That is an important factor behind all of my vape buying decisions right now. What's going to really last? Will I be able to fix this if one of the parts goes out? Will the parts to fix it be available? I'm stocking up on firing pins and screws and springs and learning all I can to maintain my Reo's properly so that I won't have to go without if access is cut off. I'm planning on buying a few more Reo's before to long. The Reo is the perfect vapepocalypse mod. I wouldn't trust that this clone would hold up and won't take my chance on finding out.

Many not all people who have a reo and are going to buy another one should not have any concern with this or other similar mods.
Waiting for the new reo to show up on the website and then apparently you have to try and buy one like a concert ticket that sells out in a couple of minutes.

So I could try and buy one and miss out to someone who already has five of them.
So the people who already have a few of them and buying more shouldn't care about people buying a different version.

I don't think Rob is the type to do anything about this sort of thing but he does have a patent on the Reo and could probably do a lot about it if he ever chose to do so.

Like China cares about some silly paper. Ask hanamodz how that went, the best they could do is get their logo removed.

Shows there running low on ideas now that they over saturated the box mod market.

Return of the tube mod battle in 3.......2.........1..........
