True. At least they are open to suggestion. I've emailed them a few times commenting on their current state and suggested improvements, an they replied saying they have passed the information to their engineer, which is a good sign. At least they are proactive and open for outside suggestions, which is quite rare these days.

Well, I got back from vacation and my package from China was waiting for me. They messed up my order, but I guess to some extent that is almost SOP for this company.

Considering all of the hooplah, fanfare, and cheer-leading regarding these cartomizers.. I must say that I am woefully unimpressed. Vapor production.. "OK". Throat hit: "OK"... Flavor "OK". Cartomizer-to-cartomizer consistency: "Fair".

At this point, IMHO, they are nothing special and nothing to get worked up about. Yes.. I realize that I can sort them, and I can tweak them, and I can probable make them better.... but that is neither an advantage or a selling point. If I can't recommend them with a clear conscience to vaping friends, then they are not a viable product in my opinion.

I look forward to my shipment of "the next best revision (ceramic)"... but until then, I have to label these as "not ready for prime time" and will put them in that big pile of stuff that I call "dubious purchases".

Lol, I find this encouraging actually. I'll take "OK" to mean there's still hope :). Unfortunately you picked terms from two different scales. Does "OK" fall to the left or right of "Fair"?

You have one of those piles also?

I thought I was the only one to have a small fortune in e-Cigs, carts, filling material, adapters and strange flavored juice sitting in a box doing nothing but mocking me.

Anyone who has been on this forum for more than 30 days has or is building one of those piles.

I did, but the cleanup has begun. All my atomizers went to the trash, and a couple of old liquids down the drain.

The filler-to-bridge transfer system in all my old atomizers was just an expensive joke. If they were to build a 901 mouthpiece-like reservoir that has a small filler hole, and a one inch wick sticking out the middle (like a firecracker), you would be able to screw that reservoir mouthpiece into the atty., which would have its own one inch wick balled up, in contact with the firecracker-like reservoir that gets screwed on. That may have worked better, so I just simply threw away my expensive, bridged atoms.

Same with the old cartos, I threw all of them away, except for two, they're waiting in line for the rest of the cleaning. Those may have worked if they used modern wicking material instead of all that foam, or maybe a piece of good wick inside and around the old carto's coil as well.

What if a piece of microchipped or cracked ceramic goes into your windpipe, then what, though that still avoids everything critically important that I mentioned that goes on in there in today's cartos

why not just use slighlty better plastic

why do they have to mess with perfect vaporizing temperatures (which have a multitude of secondary critical functional components)

Considering they make guns out of ceramic, I think you'll be ok.

They're working on a co-op plan, at the PIF forum in the social forums department. ( E-liquid cn sells them.)

Co-op plan? huh? PIF forum? I don't come here much anymore. Anyplace stateside carry them? I hate ordering stuff from China.

OOp. Nevermind. Found them at Clouds of Vapor. I won't need to make an order before they're available there.
