I've been using my 808's r2 all week. It stopped vaping yesterday. I washed it out and did the dry burn. I filled it up right away but the juice tasted 'weak'. I left it overnight and it is vaping like a champ. I wished it worked on my Hello 016!! I don't think I want to try to cut the air holes into my Hello. Could be a disaster! I wonder if 'BAD' would do it for me? :)

I bought 60 E2 carto's and they all seem very consistent, despite the glue smell and overburning problems

I wouldnt call that consistent. lol

mine have been all over the place.

out of 100 , 50 where crap, out of the 50 that where good 25 needed modding to become good but worked great and I would say 25 where actually perfect.

the 50 that where bad ranged from glue issues plus plastic cup issues(some are thicker then others) bad sealant( was soft) and some had wicks so tight there was no hope.

So I dont call that consistent at all but at least the design works.
im just hoping the ceramics minus the glue solve all its issues.

they have flaws for sure, but after disecting them, the flaws are all repairable.

glue is issue, so remove the glue and that issue is gone right?, well they removed it.

coil was to tight on the coil, loosen the coil and that solves that issue, so they did that.

widen the slits becuase they where closed at one point, so they widened them.

the plastic cup can warp also causing the slits to widen even more which is no good and i dont wont to inhale heated plastic, so they switched to ceramics which all atomizers use.

those issues needed to be resolved and they said they have and in a few days we will all know when we test the ceramics version.

Im excited over the design, it works perfectly when it works.

im not happy though, i dont like the glue, i dont like the tight coil,I dont like he plastic, i dont like the sealant.

so that needs to be fixed or else all we have is half good e2's and that does nobody any good.

Yep the ceramic revisions have great potential. I just hope it doesnt take 3 weeks for them to ship it to me like last time.

I'm guessing their big orders take priority, which isnt really fair when we are paying $30 for shipping, while DealExtreme have free shipping and take less time.

But anyway these E2 carto's should last much longer than E1 Carto's, so I can kind of justify the stretched shipping cost.

on the bright side.

they have said they have tested the old ones and have finally encountered the same issues we have.( this was 2 weeks ago i think)

They have also tested the newest ceramics with no glue over and over and are very confident they have solved all our problems.(2 to 3 days ago).
No strange taste, no nasty smells etc....

to be honest they need BR giving them the evil eye from accross the room as he sits in his chair as i Parade up and down the assembly line with my parachute pants and a hitleresk mustache while vjohn and navathian stare over every workers soldier to make sure they make these things perfect this time.

Yep its unfortunate. But I guess its a case of "you get what you pay for".

Personally I'd rather pay a little extra for quality and consistency.

it would also benefit to knock these out the park as soon as possible, especially when we are all aware others are designing their own and will eventually hit the market soon.

If microtech can get the e2 perfected before then then it always bolds well for the inventor persay, the original company that put them out there will always benefit, but the e2 needs to work accross the board

Which brings up a good point, if they didn't rush them to the market in such a beta state, maybe the competition would have taken longer to get their own 'solutions' onto the market.

If RS released the current revisions today instead of the beta's months ago, it would have had a greater/more positive impact on market share in the long run.

With all these problems we have experienced, it has surely damaged the image of CE2's in general.

NO doubt.
And as I said if it wasnt for the fact that some worked perfect i would have been gone long ago. If they wherent willing to fix it as well i would have been long gone.

I kind of feel like a jackass telling everyone they are wonderful then they recieve the death pack becuase quality control wasnt up on their game.

But im going by the good ones and the fact im not going to drip ever again and i hate filler so i really want these fixed .
The issues can be fixed and it shouldnt be a mind numbing project for them to fix these issues, they arent technical for gods sake, loosen the coil and remove the glue and use ceramics.
