First comment... badkolo, you have a wonderful positive attitude, thank you for keeping that :)

Second I'm just all confused on what is what. I ordered last Wednesday/Thursday but have not gotten a shipping notice, my order still says processing. So I guess I'll just be surprised with what I get

naviathan... Will we be able to tell what version is what once we get them? Can we tell just be looking in them?

Happy vaping Everybody!!!

so what, I waste 100$ on some cartomizers that don't work well, I knew this going in. Even if they have a new design and there are still no reviews, I will order the new revisions as well. If you cant pay to play, then don't play, its as simple as that. If you don't want to spend money on an unsure thing, then don't, but don't call those that are willing to "guinea pigs", we know what we are getting into, we know they may be a flop, we don't care, we want to try different things for better or worse, there is nothing like finding out first hand. It's not like we are doing something that will kill us, jumping off a bridge into unknown waters, etc...

LOL... don't get so offended. You sound like my wife when I use cliche' humor.
We ARE acting as the guinea pigs in that we're testing out unknowns. Maybe the guinea pig can't consent to the tests it helps conduct, but the positioning is the same.

Regardless, some people are early adopters and some people value their money a little more. As my dad says: "You have more money than sense."

Of course it loses something when you type it out... meh

sorry, I am not "offended", just seems like a few want to poke at those who ordered. Do I have more money than sense? No, I have a lot of sense, sense is what makes me a lot of money :)
Bad day at work, have idiot that can't understand that he actually needs to know what he is talking about before runs off at the mouth and pisses people off. So I am just a little (ha, a lot) uptight at the moment. Sorry :(

And yes, I do know better than to go to a public forum in a bad mood from the start, obviously having an idiot moment myself.

Must be idiot customer week. My business has had all sorts of nut jobs the last couple days and can't even blame it on the mood phases as we are between the new moon and the full moon. I sympothize with you RB! I just chain vape and rant to the hubby about it :)

Lol, no one (I think...) is poking fun at the guinea pigs. Yes you are guinea pigs, that's the definition of the term. You're the leaders, the scouts, the explorers, the adventurers, the risk takers, and I salute you! (somebody has to be first :)).

naviathan... Will we be able to tell what version is what once we get them? Can we tell just be looking in them?

Yes, I'm thinking that won't be a problem.
1st version: 2 holes for the wick from resevoir to coil
2nd version: more holes for wick from resevoir to coil
3rd version: yet to be disclosed but I'm sure naviathan will be able to post the pics as soon as they ship.

My order just shipped today, so it sucks they're bringing out a new version now. Oh well, If the 3rd version are awesome, I'll order some anyways since I'd love to switch to carto's.

Will the third version fix the "problem" some people have had of going through juice really quickly? A few people have said it goes through juice like 3 times faster than a regular carto.

I would discount reports of something going through juice faster or slower as subjective perception.

Think about it. The juice has to go somewhere...
I could see where maybe the initial fill doesn't go as long as expected, or one has to top off more often than expected. Something like that could happen if the bottom of the resevoir gets filled and then never tapped after that. But it wouldn't effect how much the thing uses making vapor.

note: money in my wallet does not seem to follow these same principles of physics.

There is no bottom, the bottom is half of the wind tunnel itself, when the ecig is horizontal.

Maybe they can make the 'outer cylindrical area' of the wind tunnel into an hour-glass shape, with the wick holes placed at the narrow point. That would help the wicks all around the wind tunnel be able to absorb the last drops.

Yes we will be able to tell, but I can't say how just yet.

You're close. The first version had 2 holes in the o-ring that you were suppose to be able to fill through. The second version had slightly larger holes in the ceramic cup for the wick and more holes in the o-ring that they hoped would alleviate possible vacuum issues. The third revision...well...When I get the go ahead I'll throw it all out there. The changes in this latest design are what I envisioned doing as modifications to the originals, so in theory (or at least in my head) it should work. I'm going to test on some cartos I bought from a member here that have the old bad wicking style cups. I love breaking out the dremel and the soldering station.

So back on subject, if I order now will I get the latest and greatest? or just more of what I have coming? Or when should one order to ensure they get the latest and greatest?

Yes, if you order now you will receive the latest and greatest.

Yeah, that's why I put problem in quotation marks. But people generally get an idea of how much juice they use, but the not using up all the juice could be a good explanation, but you would think without filler the juice would find it's way to the wick.

Well, there's always going to be some that gets by. No design is ever going to vape a cart completely dry, down to the last drop.

Unless there was a carto design that doesn't use a burnable wick.

Perhaps the wick could be replaced with a solid high temperature compound that can absorb liquid, such as the compound found in water filters. :vapor:

Ok I finally got a response from e-liquid.cn about my inquiry. Not sure exactly what it means, though...

"I have asked the production line ! they told me the 510 cartomizers are the newest one with 3 holes ,and the M401 is 6 or 7 holes !

because 510 .we research at first !

so sorry for that!"

??

i just recieved my package, i will say so far these are in a nice royal smoker packaging that ius second to none, and these are painted colored not taped on.

I am filling and about to test.

I dont know IF i trust this companies word on there revisions, all mine are stamped from 06-16-2010 which means they lied about sending out the latest revision( revision 2 not 3) to everyone from the last order.

all of mine have the 2 holes in the 510 plug so im taking it these are the older ones that suck.

so it took a week just to ship the older stock . thats why they are telling people they will ship the new revision if you ordfer now, cause everyone that ordered prior to today will get the same crap i just got.
