And you suspect that the bacteria (if any) came with the cart? and wasn't acquired through use (from you, the juice, your sink, etc.)?
Or do you think there may be something anti-bacterial about these?

No I fully understand the bacteria came from the cleaning methods and constant reuse, however, the packing material gave the bacteria a place to grow. Lacking that material it's less likely the bacteria would be able to hide through a good cleaning.

It's almost odd to me that the only real 'feature' that they mention is that they are 'cotton free' so as to avoid contamination. If these were developed to solve the burning filler issue, enhance taste, and make for better refills, why wouldn't they push these benefits in their description?

But then again, this is China we're talking about. Regardless, they certainly could stand to benefit from some marketing help, to say the least. ;-)

First and foremost, I would think that they wouldn't acknowledge any known issue with burning filler if they didn't have to ... if down the line, burning filler is linked definitively with adverse health effects, they would no longer have plausible deniability regarding liability.

Good point about being cautious about the potential liability. Are you a lawyer by any chance? ;-)

Seriously though. If tons of engineering and innovative design went into creating this new carto that will revolutionize the entire (booming) cartomizer industry, wouldn't you write your copy with a bit more thought and accuracy? Their description does nothing to capture the value of what they're offering, which leads people like me to question their competency right out of the gate.

I used to hold this same sentiment. But then I did run into some really good solid electronics products accompanied wih copy orders of magnitude worse than this. It's astounding, one of those mysteries of the universe. Lately I have been leaning towards making no inferences from bad copy (other than it's amazingly bad copy).

I can only imagine things like this:
Engineering:
"filler compactswith use, filler appears burnt with use, and they want more capacity"
Marketing:
"Long threads on burning fillers -- they're worried about getting sick"
"Chinese/English synonym guide lists 'bacteria' next to 'sick'"
"More cleaner, less bacterial" -- We'll sell hundreds of thousands!

When reading what these guys wrote in thier description about these new cartomizers its easy to tell they dont speak english well or have anyone to properly type out exactly what these cartos are in order to give the perfect description.

but according to the post 107 its seems that these are the holy grail of cartos, hes been using them for days and doesnt have any complaints.

Instead of a glass-half-empty guy you're a glass overflowing guy :)

lol kinda, i really need these to be the holy grail. As much as i love vaping I dont know if i would have gotten into as much as i did if i knew how NOT simplified this thing is.
You would figure by now someone will try to make it so its as hassle free as possible so Im being as hopeful as possible that these things will do the trick.

I'm sure they're trying. I believe the market is taking off faster than they anticipated. The only true test they really get is us. I'm actually very impressed by some things. I mean the attys the retailers are giving a couple bucks for at best, and they hold up very well IMO. Cartos @ about a buck that can be used over and over.

You've survived more growing pains along the way than I have I'm sure with almost 300 days. Should be a cake walk for you. As stated earlier if these things "just" perform as well as the old cartos and the burning issue is resolved, it would be huge IMO.

Lol at the image of the Chinese dude in charge of marketing putting together the text for the website. He knows full well that those crazy Americans will buy and smoke anything they make. He just has to approach it differently than anyone else for a product that is different than any other. Implying how 'unhealthy' the competitors products are is one tactic.

100% correct, theres no love in war, if you can up one them with your product and at the same time put their product down then in this doggy dog world .... happens.

But at the same time its a little hypocrytical since im sure they sold the carto with filler for a while as well.

Well things are much better now than a couple years ago that's for sure. I never thought I'd get such great TH from LR cartomizers on simple 510 bats. They may not last that long but it's worth it to be involved in the advancements, even if it's costing more than analogs.. eek... Thats assuming mine all break down this week, I've got a few going for over 7 days and multiple refills still good, so hopefully they last, but had a few go bad lightning fast, 120 drops of eliquid wasted.
Hope the shipping comes through on these new designs and someone gets em this week, we are going through torture with the wait.

If it really is the holy grail of ecig cartos, I feel bad for all the businesses that stocked up on the crappy ones. Super sale coming our way, 25 cent cartos... That really makes a disposable ecig, toss em half way thru before the burn. I'm in.

Its going to happen eventaully, Someone will perfect cartos, Maybe these are it but things always improve.
For the business end of things it would be in the best interest of suppliers and wholesalers and retailers to sell the perfect cartomizer with no filler and all that jazz. Getting people to switch form analogs would increase and by having a pefrect carto you will retain their business, keep us coming back for more cartos and juice and if US the customer doesnt have to mess around with 20 atomizers and testing 10 types of cartos then it will save us money in the long run.

If these cartomizers work perfectly and are good for 10 refills then a pack of 20 should last you all month , plus juice. Thats far cheaper then analogs. While having a million options is fun and all , in the long run its detrimental to the e-cig business, Mods and new types of batteries is great but my issue lies with atomizers and cartomizers. There needs to be more continuity and less hassle. You cant switch the world to e-cigs with leaky atomizers, burning fillers and hard to refill cartomizers, some like us and others will go through this but you cant expect the masses to do this, it needs to be easier and that can be achieved by having the perfect cartomizer.

the cartomizers now are nice but again, the media would rip cartomizers to shreds if they where shown burnt filler and how that could harm the public.

So true, it's all going to spread like wildfire and all the nay-sayers will eat crow. I'm sure if anyone will perfect it, China will, however they don't have a model to go from so will see... they sure are good at perfect duplicating art and mass producing it... But they ARE the ones who have given us this awesome E-cig, so props to them. I wonder how long it would have taken the US to figure it out, and surprised, famous fake faces need fake cigs too. ok, I'll stop.

Someone may have posted this already here's an ongoing review by 'mick37'.

I suspect we'll have more reviews than one can keep up w/ when people start getting them..

Doh...
- on 7.4V burned at first draw  but on 3.7V works fine

Sounds like it might be more of a regular atomizer coil in there and probably less than 3 ohms... Drat. I only do 6v and find the regular cartomizer elements to be pretty much indestructible. Hope that's not the case.
