I am not obligating anyone on what to post or not post.... but I am kindly asking since this is a highly viewed thread.. please .. if you don't mind ... try not to veer too far off topic...

Of course you may do what you will... this is just a friendly request... and no hard feelings are intended

Good point, sorry for the side track. It happens, I'm bored.

I'm really looking forward to more 'deep' reviews on these. Can anyone who's received them offer any more detail?

Here are a few of the things I'd like to know:

1. How many ohms do they measure?
2. How many refills / milliliters are they holding up for?
3. How do they taste compared to a standard 808 carto or a Boge 510 carto?
4. How do they perform at 5/6 volts?
5. Do they leak?

Anyone have more to add?

From http://www.royalsmokers.com/Cartomizer.html:

"It's a exclusive product, you only can find it here (patent has been applied), these EDITION2 Cartomizers are Made by Microcig.com for RoyalSmokers and you also can order smaller quantities by Welcome by E-liquid Webshop CN. We believe that the current cartomizers in the market aren't clean enough that's why we like to offer this EDITION2 without cotton inside, we have also an update version without sticker on it, all same coated as the battery and easy refill system without metal needle, more safe more clean, less bacterial, just the way you want it and needed ..!"

hmm... wonder if they'll be shipping refilling tips with them?

I ordered a syringe from electronic-cigz.com with my other stuff. I hope it's small enough to fit in there. If not, do they generally sell the tiny tipped syringes in drug stores?

Probably, but based on Phillip's picture (post #107) it looks like the "refill ring" is removable as well.

Edit: Off-topic, but has anyone noticed this yet: V-GO. $26.50 w/2 650mAh batts.

This is not encouraging...
I didn't know I wanted a cleaner less bacterial cartomizer. I guess I did? I also wasn't aware that people were getting infected from their cartomizers. Good thing I found out about this, bacterial infections can be nasty.

Hopefully there is some side effect of a distinct functional difference in addition to their being sterile.

If you consider the number of people refilling, washing and maintaining carts, I'm sure there's some bacterial build up in there. I know I threw out my greencig carts because I let them sit for a couple days while I messed with some new atomizers. When I went back they tasted and smelled horrible. It smelled like mold.

Based on my experience with Chinese suppliers, it might have already shipped. :)

Missed this one, I hope you're right. Suspense is killing me. from your last post looking like you may not even need a syringe. Early indications are at the very least we don't have a dud on our hands, best case this could be better than we expect! Guess I'll google what time it is in China and possible call them.

And you suspect that the bacteria (if any) came with the cart? and wasn't acquired through use (from you, the juice, your sink, etc.)?
Or do you think there may be something anti-bacterial about these?

It's almost odd to me that the only real 'feature' that they mention is that they are 'cotton free' so as to avoid contamination. If these were developed to solve the burning filler issue, enhance taste, and make for better refills, why wouldn't they push these benefits in their description?

But then again, this is China we're talking about. Regardless, they certainly could stand to benefit from some marketing help, to say the least. ;-)

Well to be fair the e-liquid.cn site says: "Edition 2 Cartomizers can have more puffs and can refilled 3-10 times."

So see - you can also have more puffs. :)

Haha - "more puffs". That really helps to scratch my technical itch. Not. ;-)

Seriously though. If tons of engineering and innovative design went into creating this new carto that will revolutionize the entire (booming) cartomizer industry, wouldn't you write your copy with a bit more thought and accuracy? Their description does nothing to capture the value of what they're offering, which leads people like me to question their competency right out of the gate.

That being said, I'm excited to hear more first-hand reports. =]

Filler doesn't burn though, someone once posted that you need to learn that you have to stop just as you push on the brakes to avoid hitting traffic in front of you. I think simply introducing them as a different edition is great for many people at least.
