I like to direct drip and I use the Reo essentially to drip for longer periods. I vape for flavor. For a "plain" vaper like me, the advange of using a low res atty on the Reo is to get more watts. My Reo mini a mechanical, so there's no boost circuit. The battery comes off of the charger at ≈4.2v and the voltage goes down as the battery discharges; so that's all the power I get in my little world. (I'm sure the smart people come soon and explain to you why I'm wrong, but that's okay, I probably am).
Anyway, I vape the Reo because the flavor is as good as dripping, but because I can't adjust the voltage, if I want more watts I have to use low res devices. I've also found that, for me, I like my juices warmer when I drip them and it's the same with the Reo. The only thing I use on the Reo is dripping attys. Theoretically, with a fresh battery I might put a 2.0Ω - 2.5Ω on it and when I felt the vape get cooler, switch to a 1.5Ω atty. To be honest though, I haven't had any problem with juices tasting burnt dripping, or with the Reo, so I use a 1.5Ω 306 atty all the time.
