A Request From PureSmoker To Our Clients :-)

Hello Everyone ...

The past few days, bored while stripping 20g wire and usb cables... I was trying to figure out a way to make the PS site more *Personable* ... Now, I'm sure you have seen plenty of sites (Even my own) that have a place for reviews of such and such a product with their name/location above and below ... Yeah, this system is great, and really helps, but its quite vague, and you don't really get much of a feeling for the user ...

Now with that said ... This is what I was thinking ....

Option #A:
Have a client, take a photo of themselves with their Prodigy/USBpass and give an overall review of their experience with PS and their particular product(s) ... We would than simply add a new category for *Get to Know your Fellow Vapers* or something to that extent, then have a page dedicated to everyone

or

Option #B:
Have a client, take a photo (or several) of themselves vaping with their PS units ... Give a short bio on themselves, how they got started, and how they ended up with a PS product, give a review, etc... They would then have their own dedicated *category* so to speak like such:

John Doe - From Nashville, TN

Jane Doe - From San Francisco, CA

Steve McVey - Bora Bora, Tahitti

etc....

When you click on the name, their own dedicated page appears with all their information, etc.... Almost like a way to not only remember how they got started, but also to help people that may be or have been in the same circumstances they are, and show these people THERE IS HOPE !!!!

For instance ... If I was a 2 pack a day Parliament light smoker ... Someone's story similar to mine would be more interesting than someone who smoked 1 pack every 5 days, and so on and so forth ... Being able to relate, not only with words, but a picture of the individual I think may really really help ... Kind of cool you can share you story as well as forward to friends/family/etc... as well

Think that's a good idea? and if so ... is there anyone willing to help get this started?

Is it a good idea? Yes.

Will people *do* it? Dunno, some, probably. After all, it's a PureSmoker Edition MySpace for Vapers, no?

I *hate* myspace with a passion, and value my privacy..literally, it's been 15 years online since I've intentionally associated my name, online nicks, and pics, etc.

But lately, I have been doing videos. *cough* you'd be welcome to one if ya ever shipped my PTs

I'm sure some would love it, but I'd be careful on 'required versus optional information.' Just a thought..

I think it's a great idea Steve. Kind of like your own Puresmoker Facebook. I know something like that would have made my transition to PV's a bit smoother.

What kind of help are you looking for? Just Prodigy users willing to fill out a page? I don't have my Prodigy yet, but I'd be happy to join in.

Now, if you're needing help designing the user interface I can be of some help there too. I'll work for Riskee!

i'd gladly contribute to either type of setup. actually i've been kind of lax in adding proper reviews to webpages and suppliers, i think most reviews end up HERE instead of THERE.

I'd happily fill out a bit of a review and give a little bio info, but I don't do pictures (they steal your soul!) So, as long as the pic isn't mandatory, it's a deal. Well, once I get my Prodigies to review, that is.

Not sure there is really anything to fill out per say ...

I would essentially just like a couple paragraphs explaining your smoking and vaping background. Perhaps what helped you make the switch/jump ... A review of PS in general ... whether that be Customer Service ... Products (Juice/Hardware/etc...) and that's about it ...

I'd happily fill out a bit of a review and give a little bio info, but I don't do pictures (they steal your soul!) So, as long as the pic isn't mandatory, it's a deal. Well, once I get my Prodigies to review, that is.

LOL ... Pics are mandatory! how about a baseball hat and shades??? or a dark pictures? something just so it doesn't look like I made it up ... and seems more personal

lol if pictures are mandatory do they have to be a real picture of yourself ...i have a few pictures of stewie laying around that could be used instead of me ...since i hate pictures too/im some what of a paranoid person when it comes to personal information, I dont mind sharing storys but real names/photos make me a lil paranoid.

Its a great idea even the proposal of this idea shows how much you care im down just let me know when and how i just got my prodigy today and cant wait to show it off and tell my story cause im sure everyones been on some sort of journey when it comes to personal vaporizers and right now i can sum it up and say in my short ordeals with them that puresmoker and the prodigy take the Cake

If i had to choose though deffinetely option A it seem like your first pick to being as you put it as A

Also not to mention i think it would be cool if maybe somehow the thing would update and show how long weve been customers and how long weve been using a particular product
