Found a little trick with the V1 atties. That little hole is just too small to feed the V1 AFS. I took a metal screwdriver awl and sharpened it as sharp as I could get it with emery cloth sandpaper. I then held the atty in a paper clip and lightly tapped the awl into the small laser hole to widen it ever so slightly. Worked like a charm for a few days then I popped the i7 atty. I just tried it on another atty but my alligator clip kept popping out the atty. I'll keep at it for a bit but there was a definite improvement with the laser hole being ever so slightly enlarged on the V1 AFS. Here's some photos of the tools I used.

I've also encountered two imeo atties ( both were i6's) that the laser hole wasn't all the way through the side by verifying with that little led light from lighthound.

Not a bad idea at all Boom! I dont know what the f#$%ck those lasers do on the atties sometimes. Greek laser told me that if his holes ςεre closed then he could give me 10.000 euros. Maybe its time to collect my money!

Flat mouthpieces would be great! Right now I use a stainless steel t-tip, great for dripping but I prefer the flat mouthpiece. Since no dripping is required with the AFS, I'd love to go back to a flat rather than round mouthpiece.

Very good point! I feel the same and would rather use a flat mouthpiece aswell. I am dripping for now and use the same tip as you until the new AFS is shipped...

Yes I had a few of my last batch of 25 that were blind but I was able to take a file to the back side and open them up. It seems that there was just alittle of the burnt material hanging around in the inside of the atty. You might also try one of these stainless steel dental picks. I have a few that drew sent out with some of my orders way back when. I have also had a little luck with a piece of sharpened tungsten from my TIG welder. I put it in my drill and sand it down until I get a super sharp point. I then do like you did and knock it down into the hole to open it up a little bit.

Not to worry though guys the new AFS will be so user friendly you won't want to pick up your old one again. I have been vaping my V2 for three days now and really like how easy it is to get juice to flow. I can take real easy drags again and still get juice. Close off the control ring and get a quick burst of juice then back to normal vaping again. No worries about clogged holes.
