I find it hard to imagine a scenario in which inhaling less flavoring is not a good thing.
Which is why "flavorless" is being used more and more around these parts.

It's actually quite tasty.
:)

This link was posted on another thread, today:
http://www.ipsos-na.com/download/pr.aspx?id=14594

From that link:

"Q12. Have you tried any flavored vapors? (Select all that apply) (Asked of those who currently use e-cigarettes or a vapor device in Q7/8, n=465)
Yes 84%
No 16%"

Either 16% have never tried anything but unflavored, or don't understand that flavoring is added to achieve the supposed tobacco flavors, or maybe something else. I'd like to think that unflavored is getting popular.

Yes, it's tasty, and smoother than flavored.

I am very interested to compare the Juul's vapor output with the satisfaction due to the special juice.
Me too. If not cloudy enough, I guess I could add VG and nic and get some of the enhanced nic benefit, but not the full effect.
When I first switched to vaping, it didn't take me long to conclude that for me, satisfaction correlates with cloud density. It's almost like I needed to replace the chemical richness of cigarettes with cloud density of vaping. Of course, there is an upper limit to this too, and now I find myself back on the Nautilus Mini more and more.
I vape very low wattage, so I'm not getting huge clouds, but definitely more than with smoking.

While I would never discount your personal observations and feelings...
I got more vapor from a standard 510 atomizer at 3.7 volts than I ever got smoke from a cigarette.

Absolutely, me too. My problem was that the smoke was so much more satisfying, and so I had to ramp up the vapor production to even approach a similar feeling with vapor. My thought now is, if we improve the efficiency of the vapor, then maybe we won't need as much as before. If the Juul delivers as advertised, then maybe we won't need anything more than what a smoke would produce.

Well I've currently got a mini Protank 3 full of 70/30 VG/PG at 54mg and first impressions are that I don't much care for unflavoured - it's the first time I've tried it. There's a harshness to it at this strength that currently I'm not going for. Maybe I'm actually a flavouring junkie after all. You learn something new everyday.

When you take a couple of Hits, do you feel More Satisfied than when you take 7 or 8 Hits at you Normal mg/ml?

In all honesty I'm not enjoying it at all - maybe it's the lack of flavouring that's doing it and I'm just tasting the nic. I'll have a coffee shortly and see if that resets the taste buds and if the after coffee vape is more satisfying.

Isn't the Njoy at 48mg/ml? In any case, it bears mentioning that Juul claims their "proprietary mix" makes drawing on the 50mg/ml enjoyable, instead of throat-stripping. If true, then that could make quite a difference.

I can verify this - it isn't like the murderous NJOYs. Again, I am an engineer but not a chemist so I don't know what they are doing. Like Matty Mc, "I just like the way it feels..." heheh

When I vape in the dark, it gets way less satisfying. I do remember that being somewhat the case with smoking, but not nearly to the extent that it's true for me with high VG vaping.

How would you describe the Vapor as maybe compared to a 510 and an Atty?

Ouch.

You forgot my first principle of not extending your situation to others.
I don't need more vaper than a smoke would produce, nor do I need more nicotine.

This poll can give a lot of insight to the VAST differences we have...
What did it take for you to put down those last couple cigarettes? | E-Cigarette Forum

As vapors, we should never forget that each of us may have vastly different desires and/or needs.
And that's why we need to fight for complete freedom to choose.

As for me, I need...
--A similar amount of vaper as smoke
--Something to do with my hands

Yeah, that's pretty much all I need.
But every smoker/vaper is going to need something different.

I am using, more or less, an editorial "we." I do realize the infinite variety of situations "out there." At the same time, there does appear to be a consensus regarding the performance and satisfaction gained from cigalikes, and Blu in particular. I tend to agree with the consensus, but I do dearly hope to be surprised by Juul.

Sounds like they could be adding ammonia to the liquid. OHH LAWD !!!
Ammonia isn't listed as an ingredient and unless someone has figured out how to process all noticeable taste/smell/burn away, I don't detect it.

The contents, in order are VG,PG,Flavor,Nicotine,Benzoic Acid. Let's not Jump ;)

True, but I could never taste ammonia in my cigarettes. It's most likely the high nic strength that it contains. How's the vapor production ? That would make a huge difference compared to the Njoy that contains 48 mg. That pos produced next to nothing vapor.
