I don't have any friends that vape (not including those I've met online). There are some people who vape at work, but I'm in to authentic mechanical mods and rebuildable atomizers and they seem to use cigalikes, eGos, and clearomizers so we don't have common ground when it comes to hardware (I find that I'm so far removed from what they're using that I can't really make recommendations). There's a guy who I chat with and sometimes swap juice samples which is cool. Otherwise, I guess that I too am a lonely vaper.

It is unusual to see vapers here at all, and when I do it's almost always a 20 something male who is usually shocked to see a middle aged woman doing the same thing! It's a lonely landscape here for vapers, but I am just starting to see signs of mainstreaming like B&M stores popping up in other parts of the state. I am encouraged by this but still feel a little like the lone vaper around here.

I made a Facebook account just to join New England Vapers group. Well worth it.

It's an eclectic group of us that meet at least every month and many are middle aged.

I am a lone vaper too. We have vape shops around here, populated by 20-something's & I am... well... over 20. I thought about starting a Meet-up group, but since there aren't any, wouldn't want to say "middle aged vape club" & @ the same time, wouldn't want to go through the hassle of starting a meet-up & find it's all youngsters, making me feel old :)

I know the feeling. Haven't had a lot of luck getting my step-dad into vaping. He has a vaporizer now but he just doesn't care much for it. If I can afford it, I am going to try to get him some juices he might like. For now i am a lonely vapor. Everyone in the house is tired of hearing me talk about it lol

Hmm... well "lonely" kinda defines me, whether I was a smoker or now a vaper. I've had to redefine my terms... I'm a "loner," a/k/a "hermit." There are quite a few vape stores around here, but I've only seen one or two vapers out and about, and only run into 2, who were the salesmen for the ADT system we bought. My favorite teller at our bank is a vaper, though I had no idea of course until I was bragging about my smoke-free time; she recently had a baby, and said that the cigarette withdrawal was killing her while she was pregnant, so she started vaping 0 nic to get her thru; now she's nursing, so she says she's still on 0mg, and it's been over a year now, so she figures she'll stay at 0mg even after she weans her baby, but has no plans to stop, she likes the flavors.

NC kinda boomed with the Vape scene. Kinda unusual considering RJR and what not.

I remember hearing something about New York banning vaping in restaurants and places. Not a shock it happened though. It's a shame though. Especially since from what I heard there wasn't even a lot of complaints about it.

I suspect that soon most states will start banning it inside if people continue to cloud chase where it isn't appropriate. Don't get me wrong, I love my big clouds, but I try to keep it moderated and only do it when it isappropriate and respect others wishes towards not having vapor shoved in their faces.

Eh, I've seen people with Egos in bars in New York. Usually they get some looks, but rarely are they told they can't use it. I really hope people aren't blowing clouds in bars/restaurants, that's just obnoxious, and I've said it before, people might think something's on fire and panic/get concerned.
