fasttech obviously sell clones but they're sold as such, in my experience if an item is sold as being 'authentic' then it is.

Don't know the story, but it looks legit, right down to the packaging. In the bag. Ordered.

Got no idea. But thanks, I just ordered it. My clear tank cracked awhile back & I have been trying to find a replacement. Emailed the vendor I bought my V2 through AND footoon twice each, with no response from either. So, once I receive this fasttech item the clear tank will be tried on my original and we shall see. I'll let you all know.

Don't care if it is a clone. I need a clear tank. If the vendor nor the original manufacturer care to respond to a customer request then Clone It IS!

I would love to hear your comparison, and whether you think it is authentic. Of course FT will hopefully clear this up by then. However, should it be a clone, I would still be interested in your comparison and thoughts.

Fasttech never sell clones as authentic.

The Aqua is supposedly made in China, my best guess is that the FT 'authentic' is from the same factory as the original

If its a clone, yes. The jury is still out. I'm pretty convinced it is, but i could be wrong.

I would say yes. And I'm the OP. I edited the title and OP for clarity.

I started a thread. I don't believe they fell off the Footoon truck and were sold to FT

They changed the name in the listing on Fasttech - they're no longer calling this authentic but OEM instead.
These are made in the same factory as the originals, same 316, same machining and same manufacturer.


So not authentic and not really clones either.

Can't find a pic, but if you or someone could show the wick before saturating and after on the deck it would be appreciated. Looking for the single coil builds here.
