bragging rights:

build dual coil 0.7 ohm on a mech mod, so probably 15+watt:

just cut them a bit shorter:

i keep getting dry hits. :-/
any tips on the best length of the cotton tips if using cotton?
better with silica? maybe cotton too thick.

I cut my cotton sorta diagonally so that approx. half of it (the bottom "longer" half) goes into the channels, and the other (shorter top) half stays above the channels. I also cut my cotton so that the very bottom of the channels are open....I tried stuffing the channels with all of the cotton on each side, but got dry hits also. Seems that you need to find a balance between too much and too little. I think I have it just right now as my dry hits have subsided.

Sedges turorial is great. I checked it out before I recieved my aqua2, wicked it that way the first time and have never had a flood or dry hit and I've had this tank since it first came out. Kudos to Sedge!!!!! This is my favorite tank so far, I have a kayfun4 & orchid v2 on order so we will see if it keeps the #1 rank.

I'm getting gurgles but no leaks :/ any idea how far the coil should be from the airhole?

Running in on a single coil, blocked the other juic channels with cotton
Thin tails in the juice channels with fat shoulders righr at the top of the juice channel. See my build pics in the early post of this thread.

Well I just recoiled my Aqua v2 with ni200. Did 11 wraps per side with 30ga. around a 1/8" drill bit. The resistance came out to .15 ohms. Have the TP set to 440 deg at 30 watts and it's vaping beautifully! I have been experimenting with contact coils, which is what I used this time around. I know they say that spaced coils are better, but I've been having really good luck with contact coils...

Anyway I Just wanted to thank Sedge for the build tips with ni200. It appears that the aqua is a great ni200 atty! :)

I have had better results with contact coils . Let us know if it stays consistent. My has in the Aqua v2.
Will do, sedge....Yeah my initial resistance after building the Aqua with ni200 was .15, but it's settled down to .13 since then....seems to be holding steady there at .13....time will tell if it stays consistent! :)
