East coast.
I have owned two pets in my life. The first was a dwarf lionshead that I named Nubbers...sadly I had a friend take care of him while I was out of town - one of her bunnies got sick and out of concern for my rabbit she took him to the vet and they gave him a shot, he was allergic to it and died within 15 minutes.

My current pet is a cat that I have justly dubbed "Kittenpants". Her full name is Mistress Kittenpants - Supreme Lady Extraordinaire. She is the funniest, smartest, and fiestiest critter this side of the Mason Dixon. She is just the right amount of playful/naughty/and snuggleable. She purrs on contact, but doesn't pester people incessantly for affection. She is a year old, but no matter how old she gets she will always be my 'beh-beh cat'.

:p

We have 3 small 4-legged children, and 2 that swim round and round and round....

As you can see by my avatar (picture found online) we are Maltese people. We have Angel (my husband's), Sharlamane (I call her Sharli for short and she's my heart), and Dargo a mini-daschund which we share. I, uh, used to get a giggle at older women and their pampered pups until I became one. NOW I understand!:D

Great ears!!
Is that a pug crossed with a bat? :D
French Bulldog (or Frenchie)

We have three Siberian Huskies (one red/white, one white and one grey/black/white) and one English Mastiff/Great Dane cross. You can see two of the huskies in my avatar. The huskies are all blue eyed and the white one is an Isabella white (sometimes called a red dilute).

Really near the mexican border.
We have 2 dogs (just lost two last year, both from seizures. Kira a 5 year old Black Cocker Spaniel and Exci a 14 year old apricot poodle)

The ones that are still left are MR. T - he is a 5# tiny toy black ( I am really a mastiff) male poodle. He was a rescue- he was thrown down some stairs as 3month old by his right back leg. When we first fostered him, he had both legs broken in 3 places and his right hip was crushed and the ball of the hip was seperated from the femur, like someone wound him up by his right leg and then let go, down the stairs. He was then placed in splits too long for his legs that made the bones grow bent backwards. His surgeries to fix everything was alittle more than $5000.00.
He was adopted out twice and returned to us twice. He is now ours and he adopted us. And here he stays, he sleeps with our daughter when she is home at her feet, under the covers. When she is gone, like she is now, he sleeps with Lori and won't move when I go to bed.

The 2nd one is Gizmo (she came from the Humane Society of Dona Ana county). She is about 12 years old, part poodle (chocolate), part terrier, part Pitbull. She is curly like a poodle, but don't let her get ahold of something you want she will not let go. We have had her for about 11 years, now. She got really heavy when we moved to Michigan, mostly because she has low thyroid. She's on meds for the rest of her life.

We had 6 Sugar gliders ( Just re-homed) I thought the ferrets are alot of work, I never imagined that these guys would be such hard work, hence why they are were re-homed. Jasper (Daddy and now fixed), Bob (Mother she had no tail), 2 babies (brother- now fixed) and sister and 2 in the pouch.

We presently have 8 Ferrets, all from our rescue, 4 we are keeping, since the oldest has been with us for 5.5 years.
By way of Age: Oldest to youngest.....
Bugz - male - Sable - almost 6
Kipper Dude - Male- black- almost 5
KC Sue- Female- White with black eyes - 3.3 - sick with adrenal disease
Flower- Female - Siamese- 3.2 ( up for adoption with Zoom zoom)
Zoom Zoom - champagne panda mitt- 3 (up for adoption with Flower)
Twilight - female - albino - almost 3 - sick with tumors everywhere
Marcus - Male - huge black sable - about 2 (up for adoption with Zeva)
Zeva - Female - Champagne mitt- about 1.5 (up for adoption with Marcus)
All of these are rescues except for KC and Twilight.

Last year we lost 2 dogs, 10 ferrets, 1 sugar glider all needed to be euthanized due to sickness or accidents.

So right now we have 8 ferrets and 2 dogs and a partridge in a pear tree.....sorry I thought I was singing LOL

This is one of the reasons I own a gun.

If I could only find the asspocket that did that.
I'd gladly blow his/her head off, consequences be damned.

Or at least I wish, I guess.

Edit: Seriously, what kinds of messed up people live on this planet?
Edit: No, seriously, such a person has less right to live than your dog does.

If you take your frustrations out on innocent animals, you have MAJOR problems.
And you really need to get some help.

And don't ever let me catch you taking those frustrations out on innocent animals.
Because I will make sure you regret it, one way or another.

I don't screw around when it comes to asspockets versus innocents.

Yes, I don't understand people who do that to baby animals. Then again, I don't understand why they do it to human babies and I work in social services so I hear about a lot of that as well. Sickos

Cassius Clay....aka Mohammed Ali (spelled wrong, I am sure). Boy, am I old to remember when the name changed.

As I probably already posted, my tiniest min pin is named Ali and after all the money for his surgeries, broken leg...he is now known as the million dollar baby so we have a boxing theme going on. When I see that little 6 pounds flying around (still doesn't use the leg much), I say "there goes my new car."
