Two questions for all you tootle puffers. Has anyone tried the new nautilus "wickless" BVC coil heads? What other tanks, besides the two Nautiluses, accept these heads? Thanks!
I have and they are my favorite setup. The coils last forever for me too but I use clean liquid in mine. I have my nautilus on a Vapor Shark 50 running it at 13 watts.

Where did you find them at that price??
Analogalternative.com He is going out of business. use the coupon code HALFOFF and get 1/2 off of their already low price. Do it soon as I missed out on my cartomizers and esmart clearos. Reg on the esmarts was 1.49 so 1/2 off would have been dirt cheap.

Welp, Tootle Puffers, we made it to the Big Time. Yep, we're now even more Internet famous.

Does anyone do FaceBook? I'm sure many here do. If so, check out Aspire's page. ;)

For those who don't, here's a shot for ya.

The link will take you to reddit, and from reddit, there's another link to Aspire's Blog page where you can cast a vote.
The page might just look a bit familiar to ya........ ;)

Alright Tootlers.... I just found out that my :censored: state has passed legislation regarding the manufacture and sale of e-liquids. (And yes, I contacted my representatives - like many other topics, they don't listen one iota to their constituents.) Rumors abound that devices might be next. I think I need to get my hands on a mech mod (or two or three), and I was wondering what my favorite tootlers might be using (Reos - already aware of them :) ) I would like something that will work with my Tootle Tanks (Nautis, PT2s, kayfuns, etc.) Nothing overly crazy - good switch and locking mechanism.

It's hard to read, but I get the gist that even DIY could be subject to this - but, it's legal to make beer or wine without any permits, so I don't know how they can disallow DIY e-juice for personal consumption.

Time to stock up

But those Molehill Mtn driptips? Either elitist or artistic enough that the price is of less consequence than the look.
Andria

Agreed. Since I'm happy with the mods and tanks that I use, a big portion of my vape budget goes to dressing up those little mods. Pretty wraps, painted tanks, charms, and one of a kind drip tips all add to my vaping enjoyment. I figure that if I'm gonna go around with a little box stuck in my face all the time I might as well look stylish doing it. That doesn't mean I'm not frugal about it though, some of the stuff I see out there is overpriced, perhaps to appeal more to the elitist vapers, but if you look there are some wonderful artisans out there that do beautiful work at reasonable prices.

I think it may be time to seriously consider getting a subforum entitled "tootle puffers forum" so we can have threads on blister pack vaping choices as well as a single build coil club and yes, even one on where to find small bore drip tips! I'll be sure and visit.

Love this!

Look for mechs that have:

1) Either a magnetic switch or magnets available aftermarket
2) Telescoping body/extra ring to fit a 15W Smok Kick with an 18650 battery.

I love my brass Nemesis clone. I replaced the switch spring with cheap magnets and picked up the Smok Kick for it. It works great. If the Kicks dies, I still have a mechanical. All in, I think it cost me $30 plus batteries.

ETA: I think we need to stay on top of our state/municipal reps regarding e-cig legislation/regulation. The FDA might mess with things but congress won't piss voters off going into an election year. Make no mistake, this is all about the almighty dollar. Our elected officials can't spend enough. They need to make up for the shortfall somehow. Vapers are the new kids on the block. This makes us prime targets. Please stay engaged. Consider joining CASAA. It's free to do so.

It will be interesting to see how DIY pans out. We have always been able to buy loose tobacco, papers, filters, etc and roll our own analogs dirt cheap. I can't see that changing in most jurisdictions, including DIY e-liquid. The nicotine base might get taxed though. Any tootle puffer also a psychic?

I can highly recommend the Smok Galileo mech mod; it's $34.95 at MadVapes. I'm very very happy with mine; excellent quality; the switch is magnetic and very strong. It's also the only mech I've ever seen that also has ego threads. A Smok 15w Kick fits in it perfectly. It can use any battery from 18350 to 18650. It's also rather unique looking.

Thanks for posting this Andria; good price, strong switch, ego threaded and easily kicked. This is what I'm looking for in my first mech.

You can see that it has a rounded top, but it doesn't actually look that bad with a 22mm tank on top. I've seen a beauty ring at IBtanked that I think will work for it, to give it a flat top; it's meant for a Provari, so it's a little costly, but I think it would also work with this or any other 22mm mod.

Andria ask OCD if they will work. I know I have a couple and they were designed specifically for the ibtanked tanks and may give you an odd fit to your mod.
