Good morning gadies and lents. This post box has been open for 2 days wanting me to push post reply so I changed it to this to get rid of it. Me thinks the techies went a little over the top.
Good Morning. I think if you highlight it and hit your spacebar it'll disappear...

@5cardstud & Everyone else that might be interested . . .

Just An FYI:

If you no longer want to post something, all "You" have to do is delete the message and then go to the options bar > Click on the "Save Disk" icon > Select Delete Draft . . . Done - Message All Gone and does not return later . . . ;)

BTW: The New interface does not have the same "Auto Save" frequency as before . . . SO - If ya' are replying to a lot of Multi-quotes, writing a long message, or taking time to edit/add "Stuff" to the post - I Strongly Suggest that "You" take the opportunity to use the "Save Disk" more often . . . Just Sayin' - I learned the hard way . . .

I did all that and many other moves but everytime I logged on to this thread there it was staring me in the face. It's now gone by editing the post.

Tootle puffing is expanding so fast that we may need different branches of the Tootle tree:

Fiddle Puffers - like to build their own coils
Blister Puffers - like to pop in a head from a blister pack
Kayfun Puffers - because there are so many of them
Old School Puffers - using gear that is no longer available or considered obsolete by many
Short Draw Puffers - vaping at very low or sub ohm levels with quick draws
Stick puffers - content with cigarette sized vapes

I would have to call myself an Old School Blister Puffer for the most part. I will continue fiddling with juicemaking until I run out of Vision Vivi Nova and Kanger T2 heads. That will happen in about 10 years, at which time I will become an Old School Fiddle Puffer.
So for the most part that puts me into the Kayfun Fiddle Puffer category.

Where would the Origenny fit into that table?

Here's some pics of my Kick, in my Galileo --

kick-1.jpg

kick-2.jpg

The 1st pic shows how it sits right at the top of the battery tube, so that center post can contact the battery on the bottom and the battery post on the top side.

The 2nd pic -- see the blue square? That phillips head in the center is what you fiddle with to adjust the setting. That silvery-looking blob at the 8 o'clock position has the little doohickey that gets pushed in, when the Kick is properly inserted in the tube.

The best way I've found for adjusting the position of it in a telescoping mech is, go ahead and put the topper you're using onto the top cap of the mech; put the top cap (with topper attached) onto the mech; THEN insert the kick and the battery in the mech -- because of that floating center pin; if you put the whole mech together before putting the topper on, it will push that floating pin too far up; having the topper in place when you put the top cap onto the mech, keeps that center pin in the correct position.

I think it was DavidOck who taught me all this, in the old vv3 thread -- so hat's off to David!! :thumb:

Thank ya, ma'am! That's what I was hoping to see :) I went ahead and ordered a kick from hoosierecig.com. They are on sale for $8. Now for the quest for a couple of tubes. I have plenty of PT2s and kayfuns to sit atop a mech, so I will stay on the safe side :)

Excellent price for that Kick! I might order up a couple of spares for my 'pocalypse prep -- best price I've seen before this was $12.95.

One other thing I forgot to mention about the Galileo -- it has a terific "hand feel" -- it's a 22mm mod, but it doesn't feel like it, it feels "slim" -- it's heavy enough to feel solid, but not so heavy you get tired of hoisting it. The design on it is actually etched or engraved, so it gives your hand some "purchase" to hold it securely while you're pressing the button. And, although at first I was afraid that a bottom-firing mech would feel awkward, that awkward feel lasted about 10 mins -- then it felt completely natural.

I have another, my Fallen Angel, but since getting the Galileo, now the Fallen Angel feels awkward -- button on the side, but at the bottom, which requires a weird grip unless you've got Mr. Universe pinkies... and the Fallen Angel's top and bottom are completely flat, edges completely "squared" -- the Galileo is rounded both at top and bottom, which just feels better.
