Looks great!! Just realized, Iv never owned a "Box mod" with a built in battery!!! Man, I gotta fix that!!
I prefer to be able to removed them, this ZNA Lite really looks so nice in black. Not cheap though.

I would not necessarily say that the thinner gauge is a better vape or not, as it is all subjective as to what you are looking for. I usually build 26g in everything and run it around 20W - 25W for a warm vape. I have 28g in the FeV VS right now 8 wraps on 2.5mm for 1.4 ohms and I run it at 20W as well.

If you have a look at the Steam Engine site I posted in those links. You can play with the power setting in the Results Box on the right to adjust the reported Heat Flux of the coil. I try and keep my coils around the 200 mW/mm2 setting changing the gauge of the wire/resistance/ID and power will show the results in this box.

I run dual 26g, 6wraps each on 2.4 for a total of 0.4 ohms in the Big German. This requires me to run that unit at 37W to vape at my preferred heat flux of 200. I could run it at 20W for a much cooler vape at 110 on the meter.

It's all what you are looking for and my settings might be too hot for you and too cool for someone else.
I find the more surface area a coil has the better the flavor is for me and 30g wire has too little surface area and gets too hot to quickly and it to flimsy to rewick.

Thanks. I have been using Steam Engine since day one and always had my eye on the box on the right but maybe I was not using it properly. I mean I was just looking at the colour and not really minding the numbers. So when I only had mods that went up to 11 watts I would build my coils so that they would give me a nice middle green on the maximum wattage I could go. Now, with your help, I am reading it better.

Here is a better pic, I did say there might be a gush fest.. I think this on the Rixsta etched Coolfire mod is just going to look so good. Might have to get a ZNA Lite now with the money I'm going to save..
Love the new Avatar! Your work?

You still haven't quite made it yet, Rixsta. You still have a severe case of shinyitis. Look at how much you're talking about how your gear looks.

I would say that help and support are available, but they really aren't, since almost everybody here has fairly severe shinyitis. Everybody except for me and Cromwell, and even we have our moments.

Just a minute here while I take a nice long cool drag from my Smok Trophy Tank (1.8 ohm)...1100 mAh EVOD clone...mmmmmmmmmmmm

Some of the avatar is my work, not much though, the main picture isn't. Added some vapor now

I'm aware it's new and only time will tell really, I am trying though and I am really enjoying this little tank.

Just going back to the looks of my gear, that goes for everything, I love nice things, it's my weakness, this is the first tank I have had that is actually really really well made and top notch materials so it's right up my street, I don't think it's just shinyitis.

Gonna be spotty here for a few days. Leaving shortly for a family funeral gathering thing. Oldest sisters husband died in an accident. I am sure the motel will have wifi though and taking my Kindle Fire. Hate typing on that thing though. Not a fan of touch screens.
Have a good one.

@Rixsta Its that nice Quality feeling knowing every cent was worth it!

It is worth the money and I can see why people buy two or three of them, 316L surgical steel, fused quartz tank and precision machining, its like night and day from the Chinese tanks. It comes down to the old saying again, you only get what you pay for. The drip tip has to go though, I'm going to get one hand made for it from a friend of mine, he makes great tips or mouthpieces as I like to call them.

I just checked out the Kabuki tank and was even thinking about getting it but then I checked on the prices of the coils and they are double the price of my EVOD's. That is a deal breaker with me.
I cannot rebuild, so pre made coils are what I use.
Sometimes I really thankful for being tight. It reigns in the shinyitis.
