I have been stuck on 1.2 ohm coils on Kayfuns for quite a while now. I ordered an MVP3 Pro and decided that I would get the kit with the iSub G as I have read good things about it and figured that I should at least give sub-ohming a try. Got the kit yesterday. First and last time that I will sub-ohm. I have no idea how people do that. It forces you to suck the air into your lungs. Gave it 30 minutes to see if I could get used to it but there is no way that I could enjoy doing that. I have gotten myself down to just under 4mg nic and even that seemed too much for me with that tank. Plan to stick with my kayfuns.

I tried dialing it way down but could not get it down enough for me to draw normally. Had the sucker pretty well closed. Tank is now in the drawer where it will stay. Also the noisiest tank that I have ever used. Not sure if they are all like that.Wow. It has nothing to do with the ohms, and every thing to do with the airflow. I have run .4 ohm coils in kayfuns before and didnt lung hit them because they are too restrictive on the airflow for it to be enjoyable to me. I never lung hit even during the 40 years I smoked until I tried a subtank mini and thats because of the massive airflow it has. With your iSub, turn your airflow down until its comparable to your kayfuns and then try it.
Yes, I'm a tootle puffer.
I went into a local vape shop yesterday with my standard setup and the clerk tried to give me grief for using my "old-fashioned" carto tank and my outdated Provari.
He said "You really love those old carto tanks dont you?"
I said "Of course I do, theyre more convenient than a dripper, give me almost as much flavor and use a fifth of the juice your high watt mod uses. Whats not to love?

I keep telling hubby the same thing lolI've seen the human fog machine competitions, I told them we already have machines for that but they just looked confused![]()
Top coil "tanks" have been around for a long time.

Snap - I've still got mine that came with the MVP2 and a load of iclear 16s that came with my VV3s - they may come in useful after May 2016This is the first "tank" I owned when I moved from the first generic ego style battery to the Innokin mvp2 - it came with it as a kit. It's the iclear 30 and a pretty good tank. They're still around.

I'm sure you meant 0.26 ohmsI finally made my decision and the iStick 40 TC should be in my hands in about 3 weeks, provided Fasttech honours its commitment to ship by the end of the month. I also ordered a spool of T1 in 30AWG. So here are a few more questions for the tootle puffers who already use TC.
1. As a form of practice I used the Nickel 200 I already have and built a spaced coil which measured out at 2.6ohm and placed it in my KF lite plus to see weather it fits without shorts. It does fit but am I being foolish doing that? Can I use sub ohm coils in a KF if I am using TC?
2. How low, or high, are you building your coils to still be able to tootle puff on TC?
3, Is Titanium safer than Nickel or doesn't it make a difference?
Thanks.
I'm way behind you but beginning to stock up - even my non-smoking/non-vaping husband is encouraging me to buy at the momentI basically ruined mine when i tried to recoil itbut I still have all the parts and may try it again if the need arises. But I think I am really all set for the apocalypse with my several RBAs and RDAs plus about 6 Mini Protanks and brand new coil heads for them, even though the heads they use are really very easy to rebuild. My last order from Fasttech, together with the TC iStick, was a selection of o-rings and replacement glass tanks... yes I think I'm all set should the tsunami really hit hard. Just in case it becomes illegal to vape tanks in public I still have a supply of GreenSmokes.
Yep I'm all set - bring it on you stupid EU Commission!!
@Lannie, try Sweet-Vapes. They show the PT2 (which I![]()

- it's my daily tank) as discontinued, but $10 a pop. Not sure how many they have in stock....
I got air flow control bases for mine (which I'm trying to find a few backups....)
@Fuzzy Thunderbear - OWWWWWWWW, hope you get to feeling better soon....

... And tootle puffin is like orderin a shot and then suckin it through a coffee stirrer.
I do know ONE thing now, though! LOL! More air is always a good thing! Rich drilled out one of the airholes on my EVOD tank bases (one each) to a little bit larger size, and wow, it makes a HUGE difference in the draw, flavor, and vapor. So those might not be so neglected after all.I LOVE my fancy purple binkie, but the sturdy little EVODs will be my barn vapes, and "rough duty" devices. The fancy one is for the house. I did take it out at choretime last night, but it was the first day, so I can be excused for exposing it possible danger.
I was very careful that I did NOT set it down on chicken-poop!

Next thing ya know, you'll be cloud chasin...Isn't it amazing how a little bit of air just totally changes the vape experience in those tanks? I was just blown away when I drilled out my T3S tanks (they are pretty much the same as an EVOD).![]()
