I’m waffling over getting one more litre of nic. I’m not sure I’ll need more than I have, and really don’t see myself as a black market nic baroness in my elder years. But, it just seems prudent (to me, Himself thinks it’s a mark of craziness to hoard nic)

Maybe she will give us an ECF friends from the old days discount. We better start liking all her posts.
I’ll just ask you to come rebuild my coils in exchange for a couple bottles ;). I figure in January/February when it’s warm and sunny here I’ll get some takers

I'm with YOU. There's no such thing as too much. Let someone have to discard it when I'm gone.

It's better than the alternative (to me). Tell Himself to stay out of it. ;)

Oh, Himself eventually gets over it . After 37 years, he’s realized it’s pointless to argue with me when my mind is made up. I didn’t realize I had to have enough to share with y’all, so I got two litres, to be on the safe side ;). That, and I’d hate to discover in the dark days of illegal vaping that my freaking math was wrong, leaving me with no nicotine for my sunset years.

Well, I'd personally tell him you thought it would be better for him...to deal with a momentary thing now, that he calls your "craziness to hoard nic". The alternative would be dealing with a whole ____load of craziness in the future, if/when you MIGHT have run out of nic! If he's not crazy himself...he'll deal with #1 now with no problem. :D

I ended up stocking up a bit on Black Friday. Ten gallons of gas is now ready at my Dad's in case we need to fire up his generator this winter!
Were you able to find ethanol-free gas? It does better in storage.

About a week ago, we had 4-1/2 days of no power at our deer camp in the Blue Ridge due to an ice storm. We went though more than 20 gallons of gas during that time, and that was with shutting the generator off at night. Being able to flush the toilet is kinda priceless though, when you've got four people there...

That's funny because I did the same yesterday! I used some of my "2018" stash and wanted to replenish.

This stuff works wonder, Rossum. Best I've found by far.

The blue STABIL (or Briggs & Stratton equiv) is good too, but this stuff kicks their hineys. I drop into into the cans before filling them, and it keeps everything NICE and clean. I always shut small engines via the petcocks too, which also helps a lot.

Don't even bother with any of the red stuff. You'd be just as effective ...... into your gas tank (building on a previous topic).

Gotta keep those small engines running!
