I was wondering about freezing my favorite premade eliquid myself. Over the years the prevailing opinion has been it would not freeze well, but I am not sure what that is based on. I know I have premade eliquid that was still great after 3 years stored in an amber glass bottle in a cool dark closet location and that was how I planned on storing some, I would buy a larger quantity if I felt freezing for longer life would be ok though.
I don't know about long long term, I know flavors change, so I would say use your judgement,I think it would be fine for a yr, my opinion.. more than a yr I don't know...

Most manufacturers say it has a shelf life of 3 months to a year when they are not continuously opened and are stored in glass in a cool, dry, dark area. It also depend on the flavor itself, artificial ingredients are more shelf stable than natural ingredients in most cases.

Food manufacturers do not need too long shelf life, they even do not want to test for it. They do know that 1 year (or 3 months) is OK, and its enough for them (for a long as it is not for strategic food reserve). No manufacturers guarantee that nicotine can lasts 10+ years in a freezer. They never tested it. The same is true for flavors. We just do not know what we can expect. Nic storage was at least tested by some users and we are somewhat sure we can store it. For flavors it could be hit and miss. I am not storing flavors not because I do not believe they cannot be stored, but because I believe many of them will be here directly from manufacturers.

Same here :) I am not stocking up on flavors because I do not believe buying them in the future will be problematic, and, the limited shelf life. I do understand if someone only uses tobacco flavors there might be more of a worry, I have tried to think back to before use in vapor products if flavor manufactures made a tobacco flavor but I do not remember seeing one... not to say none existed because I swear there is a flavor for almost anything you can think of.

Someone said that creams and custard flavorings won't last as long.
Yesterday I was vaping DIY FW Cheesecake (MD 6/13/14)
Today it's DIY MBV Blue Moo (MD 9/24/15)
good as new :thumb:

The least air the better. I only open to mix and recap them asap.
I refill 2oz dropper bottles of my favorite flavorings instead of opening 4oz or 8oz bottles to pour from.

On a positive note - The Flavor Apprentice is NOT advertised as a Vapers Product!
Also, I have a Bulk buyers account - No question of intended use!
These are Flavors that can be used in Foods, Flavor Water, Liquors, Coffee, etc.
There is no reason for restricted sale!!!!

They had a buy-one get one sale over Memorial Day, and I'm crossing my fingers that there is another sale for Fourth of July. ;)

The wraps are really nice! I got abalone for my Pico, and steampunk for one of my Provaris. You can tell they really take some care in making these. Everything lines up just perfectly.

My problem is, I don't know just how much flavorings I should stock up on. I don't think it keeps as long as nic does. I think I've read that fruits won't keep as long as tobacco flavors.

I don't think there is one time frame that will apply to all flavorings, and I don't expect a forever lifetime, but I can tell you that there are a few flavorings that I've had for 5 years that are still perfectly fine. I've never had flavoring go bad that I've had to throw out yet. I have many flavorings well over a year old that are the same as the day I bought them. I keep all my flavorings in glass bottles, in my basement, where it is cool and dark.

Many of the flavorings we buy today will always be available to purchase from somewhere so I don't think there is a general need to stash flavorings. IMHO the only ones we need to worry about are those specifically created and sold by vendors of vaping supplies that aren't likely to still be in business within 2 years and possibly some tobacco flavorings. I do believe that within that two year time frame we can expect to spend more then we spend today for our flavorings just because the price I paid almost 6 years ago for flavorings was higher then what I can buy them for today. More competition has lowered price. Less competition will mean higher prices again.

I do the exact same thing. That way I am not constantly opening the big bottle.

Don't forget to get a mech or two. I still have to do that. I don't ever want to quit. At least not this point in time. It helps me on a few different levels.
I have two GLV's so they have some wires but are sort of mech's so think am set on mods :) But maybe if Provari has a great sale, may pick up another just because :)
