E89AD7B4-B1C1-47CC-9A2E-EFB6ADDE79FA.jpeg I picked up a couple of these Asmodus Colossal on sale at 25 each. Purchased this red and an orange one. I haven’t bought a mod in 2 years. Probably really didn’t need these, but Whatever! Lol. I like my new shineys. I prefer a one battery mod and smaller in the hand like these are. The only downside is the battery is a bit stiff to remove. Not as easy as just removing a screw down cap.

I don't have a current pod setup, would like one for when my squonk sets are a little too large.

Sourcemore has the Pasito kit for $19.50, code PPT. I went for it with an extra 3 pack of 0.6 ohm coils and the RBA head. Regulated, and reports sound like it's good for restricted lung vaping.

(The RBA head looks like a pain, but I've built for that configuration before. A 5 wrap twisted 28 or 30 should work nicely [emoji3])

Minifit downside: When you drop it between the seat of the car and the console, and retrieving it takes 5 minutes. Thank goodness it shuts itself off. At one point it was wedged in with the button pushed down!

I still like them but have a feeling they won't be that long lived for me. Just waiting to put one through the wash. It's inevitable!

Yeah, I feel the same way about my Vladdin. I've had to fish it out of couch cushions more than once. Easy to misplace, too. Hell, I've been know to look for it all over the room or office, only to realize it was in my pocket. So easy not to know it's there!

I almost went the Orion Go route, Flawless has them for $35 delivered (use Hardware10), and those IQS 0.3 ohm pods are $8/pair at FT.

Pasito won because I get the kit, 3 spare heads, and rba head for $37 delivered.

Either sounds solid for a restricted lung vaper like me. Deciding factor was the RBA head - prebuilt are good if I'm ever out of commission, but I like my twisted kanthal coils, and with rayon I haven't had wicking problems on anything so far.

That's way more than buying it by the gallon of each elsewhere...like from Bulk Apothecary.

Propylene Glycol - The 8lb. size is 1 gallon

Hi JC...(realize I'm a little behind in the thread)...

The Bulk Apothecary PG link says: "Important to note: Propylene Glycol has been reportedly used in e-cigarette formulas. There has been no long term studies on the safety of this use. For this reason, we cannot recommend propylene glycol for that use. Until the FDA or other governing agencies gives their approval on the use of Propylene Glycol for this use customers should have the clear understanding that it may not be safe for long term use in e-vapor."

Do they sell a different PG without this warning???

Nope, but that warning is just a typical CYA statement. Other vendors don't have 1 with the exact same wording on their websites, but they all have CYA statements for ingredients we use in DIY eliquid. IDJoel and I, along with many other ECF members, and local people I've taught how to DIY...have been using Bulk Apothecary's Nature's Oil brand PG & VG for years. It's perfectly fine!

No worse than the old tfv4 mini single coil RBA head, and that's how I used to coil Aromamizers (I ran them single coil, had to do those 90 twists on the coil leads to get them into the posts.)

I always mix 100mls. Gives me room to shake it up in a 125ml bottle and it makes the calculations really easy. In your case it would be 6mls of nic and 94mls of pg/vg.

If you use flavoring just subtract the amount of flavoring from the 94mls of VG/PG.

OK...Thanx to all the smart/helpful vapers in this thread...I now have sites to buy nicotine, PG/VG Base and Flavors from...

Next...simpleminded question...where can I buy 125ml. bottles...that have ml. markings on them...with tops to fill my tanks...(or with droppers)???

How I do mine: Just buy a cheap, large syringe. Use it to put the amount of nic you need into a gorilla bottle, and mark it with a Sharpie. Then, I just pour the amount of nic into the bottle, to the line, assume about 50 drop per ml to flavor it, and fill it with VG or PG. Then you don't even need the syringe any more unless making a different recipe, or different nic level. You can wipe the sharpie date off when you refill. And I use that bottle as a "measuring stick" to mark others.

Crude but quick and easy. Especially easy for me, since I really only make the same single ingredient NET, over and over. Takes about 2 minutes, excluding the shaking. But no matter what you make, you can at least fill the bottles consistently with whatever your nic need is, and only worry about measuring the other stuff if you want.

I make my juice in 125ml bottles. I got them from Packaging Options Direct. Then I transfer it to 15ml or 30ml bottles with dropper tops for filling tanks. They also come from POD. I don't think they sell glass bottles with markings.

For mixing I don't use syringes any more, except for flavorings where I only need a very small amount. I use measuring cylinders. Not quite as accurate but they are easier to clean, and easy to pour into and out of. A 100ml cylinder for VG and PG, 25ml cylinder for nic, and a 10ml cylinder for flavorings. Think I got the cylinders from Wizard labs.

Also I mix base in advance. I make base with the nic, VG and PG. Generally 4 200ml bottles of it at a time. I use the 250ml plastic bottles that I used to buy nic in. I make the base at 7mg nic. Figure when I add flavoring that will take it down to around 6mg.

So when it's time to make juice I just pour some base into the 125ml bottle using the big cylinder to measure it, and add the flavorings using the 10ml cylinder.

It's the simplest method I could come up with though not the most accurate. Early on I used syringes for everything, that was more work though.

I made up some simple spreadsheets for calculating amounts. They don't do as much as the online calculators but they are easier to use. For me anyway.

    I mix a pint at a time :)

10 ml of nic 100, 50ml total of organic diacetyl free vanilla and cream, Mk 1 eyeball pg to 1/2 fill, then vg to the top.

My mixing uses a single 15ml plastic graduated breaker. I bought a 50 pack of them years ago; even after PIFing a bunch I still have around 25 new sitting in the original envelope.

My mixed eliquid storage is a 16oz translucent condiment bottle, the kind with the little cap like you see on tubes of caulk. I use 30 ml/day, the condiment bottle is a handy dispenser for the 30ml 510 refill bottle I carry with me.
