I am gonna have to pass on fooling the airlines and getting arrested.. I wouldn't do very well in jail. It would only take someone smelling your vape on your clothes to set off alarms to be searched.

Put your nic under your tongue or on your wrist

@NolaMel - Get a Smoke Buddy or Smoke Buddy, Jr. They really work! Blow your vapor into it...nothing comes out the other end! I must say it works wonders in airport restroom stalls.

I spent a whole day trying to figure out how to minimize vape in my bedroom, even somehow ended up in an argument over it, and NOW you guys link me the problem solver for $14?

Had a conversation with my landlord/roommate when I got home. He didn't mean that I'd have the ozone generator on while I was in the room and is cool with the thermostat being on circ. He said we're cool and he thanked me for trying to mitigate his problems. Did mention installing a door sweep on my bedroom door but I'm totally cool with that. Think we're good. I'm gonna move my air purifier next to me and blow right into it. If that doesn't work I'll get a smoke buddy!

Agreed. More power to those of you brave enough to try but as I've always said "I'm too cute for jail."

I do vape in airport restrooms though, but only my Juul. That's pretty easy to get away with. I used to use snus for airplanes but last trip I picked up a pack of those Zyn nicotine tobacco free and they worked pretty good. Snus might just give more nic though, idk.

I keep my air purifier near me in the bedroom, takes care of both vapor and dog dander.

On flying, realistically, after years off of cigarettes, even though I'm a constant vaper I have no problem not vaping when circumstances dictate. A handful of lemon balls, soda water, a headset and a book on my tablet make a flight go by quickly.

When I had a minor procedure last year I had to go zero nic for a couple weeks. In that case I could vape, just no nicotine. I was glad when I could start nicotine vaping again (I do like the minor stimulant effect), but it isn't like I was climbing the walls when I couldn't.

I also went for a more complete set: https://www.amazon.com/Pixiss-Scrach-Brush-Sets/dp/B07NK695CZ
One of my bugaboos has been getting a decent steel brush for cleaning my kanthal coils after I glow them slightly (gunk cleaning). I'm finding the steel pen nice for this, though the brass would likely also work.
Exactly, Thanks for that ... it melts all the old toothbrushes I use, as I don't seem to have enough patience to wait until it cools after a burn off.

How cute is that, comes on a key chain :)

Mine are probably almost 3 years old, didn't come with a keychain, and they look slighty different. But they definitely do the job they're supposed to do. I have a yellow one and a pink one. :)

That's all I did was take a drip or 3 of my 24 mg unflavored and did just fine for a 6 hour flight.

I thought of that, but no one had them at local b&m and of course we fly out tomorrow . Definitely ordering one when I get home for future trips. I’ve never set off a smoke detector in a hotel in all these years, but I’m hearing stories recently even from tootle puffers who have.

FYI: I forgot to suggest, there is an "Airfreshner" I use, especially when I was smoking cigarettes - strong smell at first, but it did the job . . . Even used it the Hospital (they used it too) . . .

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ozium-Air-Sanitizer-Original-8-Oz/49211793

There is also, "OdoBan"(different scents) - used when cleaning and it also comes in a spray bottle (better then Fabreeze) . . . Even used on Fabrics/Funiture/Walls, etc. . . . No Smoking Odors:

OdoBan 1 Gal. Citrus Disinfectant, Laundry and Air Freshener, Mold and Mildew Control, Multi-Purpose Concentrate-911661-G - The Home Depot

OdoBan 32 oz. Ready-to-Use Citrus Disinfectant, Fabric and Air Freshener, Mold and Mildew Control, Multi-Purpose Spray-910601-Q - The Home Depot

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/OdoBan-O...ectant-Fabric-Air-Freshener-27-fl-oz/45727255

    Hope this information is Helpful . . . ;0

Even if you don't set off the smoke detector, if they even think you smoke or vape in the room they could add an additional $250.00 cleaning fee after you already checked out . . .

BTW: Fought it, took awhile, but they finally credited back the fee . . .

    Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Unless I set off the alarm I should be okay , I don’t think anyone could “smell” unflavored (someone correct me if I’m missing something). And, I don’t leave any gear/juice out in the open either. I’ve got some 12 (Im usually at 6) to put a drop or two under my tongue on flights. It’ll be an all afternoon/evening of “airporting”... NOLA to Minn/StPaul, and then a second leg to Vancouver.

Not commenting on why you have it there, but have to comment on finally seeing someone else that sees the value in it.

Which coil/adapter are you using at the moment?

What does vape smell like? ;)

And why would they search you? I have not heard it is illegal to have a vape device on you.

Hey y’all. Hope you all had a good day.

I have HEPA/UV filters upstairs and downstairs where I sit. When the filters need to be changed they don’t do squat but they do help in general. We had an air conditioner contractor come to our house this summer and he commended me on my use of them. He said to keep the UV light turned on as well, saying it greatly improves air quality.

On another note. I got my MVP5  It is easily one of the most beautiful mods I’ve ever had. It’s got a really bright flashlight! And the other features are cool too.

I’m attaching a photo but please know I’m aware the lid on my tank is askew. Took a photo during a commercial break and didn’t notice it wasn’t all the way latched.

I set one off but I blew my cloud right at the smoke detector. Had to run down to front office and tell them it was my vape. They allowed me vaping in my room and it only showed up as trouble and not fire on their Fire detector board.

    Where you least expect it....
    Hey everyone,

Just read through the thread and seen some disturbances in the discussion. Please try to be civil during your time on the forum and avoid personally insulting other members. ECF is not the place for it, as it was meant to be a friendly place where people can discuss vaping.

We want to keep it that way. If there is any continuation of these actions on this thread. I will be forced to take the next step.

    Regards,

    UN
