Im about to cry, the vaping stuff I need to order coming up comes to a little over 300 dollars. That hurts.
Perhaps you can spread it out over the next few months. Nothing is officially going away on 8/8 and Ohio isn't Pennsylvania. If nicotine is on your list, I'd get it first, then toppers and mods. Things like batteries, wicks and wire should be available easily for the foreseeable future.

If you can spread those purchases out between now and year end, it might be less painful! Good luck!

I hear you. Today I had to fight the urge to buy 2 - Kayfun 5s and 2 more L of Nude Nicotine Armor...but as the peeps are saying, we have some time. Fight the urge of buying beyond your means. It will destroy your credit. Just buy the $300 to $500 per month MAX.

We will get there!

Looks like us DIYers do not need to worry about Nicotine River:)

Dear NicSelect Customers and Potential Customers,

The next several months will be a challenge for many of you as you prepare to adhere to the FDA regulations and the PMTA (pre-market tobacco approval) requirements. Naturally, we all hope that our industry can successfully challenge the grandfather date and bring about other modifications we believe are needed.

Regardless of what may come, we and Alchem International, makers of NicSelect® 100% Pure Nicotine USP, will do whatever we can to assist with your compliance efforts. We will soon be submitting a TPMF (tobacco products master file) on NicSelect® to the FDA that you can reference in your PMTA applications. And if you are selling products in Europe, we assure you we are REACH compliant and can help you with your TPD (Tobacco Products Directive) dossiers. We can also refer you to associations/consultants in Europe that can assist you with that process.

Alchem International has been making plant-based extracts for the pharmaceutical, nutritional, cosmetic and e-cigarette industries for over 75 years. Unlike newcomers to the market, we are thoroughly versed and experienced in dealing with regulatory agencies both here and abroad. We are regularly inspected by FDA and we currently have 4 active DMF’s (Drug Master Files) in place at FDA for pharmaceutical API’s (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients).

We are committed to the long-term success of this industry. In fact, because of current and projected future demands in the US and Europe, we are preparing to double our current capacity of NicSelect® to continue to be able to supply your needs. Please feel free to call me to discuss how we can help you succeed in this ever-changing regulatory landscape.

Sincerely,
Thomas H. Schrier

I was wondering what the strategy was going to be. They have big cahones and I wish them nothing but the best!

If I owned a co. I may have waited a year to file. If the FDA rejects their application, they have to pull it.

that letter is for juice companies, not DIY home mixers ... looks like NicSelect are counting on multiple PMTAs before any have even been filed.

IMO, there will be zero eLiquid PMTAs submitted.

The letter is def geared toward juice co.s but reassures me that I dont need to stock up any further on my DIY stuffs(liter & 1/2 nic, gallons of PG & VG and lotsa flavorings). I have only bought from them and this letter was sent to me in e-mail.

Edit: & I obviously wasn't really paying attention. This is specifically about NicSelect... Not Nicotine River. I probably shouldn't play with guns cuz of my itchy trigger finger.

It is geared towards the eliquid companies (only) who will have to have this information in order file a PMTA for their eliquids with the FDA if they are using this brand of nicotine in their eliquids. It has nothing to do with DIY individuals or the availability of their nic base for individuals (or companies for that matter) in the months/years to come.
