I grabbed a flat at a roadside stand the other day. Being its just the hubby and I we couldn't possibly eat all of them so I set some aside for eating and made jam with the rest.

Tomorrows project is Blueberry jam and Blueberry Pie filling. Got a good deal on Blueberries too.

I had to Google quince,,, I love pears,, this seems to be a cousin!

The smell of them is heavenly! But with the exception of a few varieties (that don't grow here) they aren't edible without cooking. But they make nice jelly and the kitchen smells fantastic. They aren't very popular anymore, but a few orchards still grow them.

I love Honey. I use it everywhere. Update on the Wismec bf box mod squonker I bought.

I've been using it for about three weeks daily. Today, I noticed my bottle is split in the middle. Luckily there is a replacement bottle in the package. I also finally got leaking in the compartment where the electronics/510 are kept. I put more silicone in it, and will see if that fixes it.

Just a heads up to anyone potentially considering purchasing this device.

I cant remember,does yours have the plastic or silicone bottle?My first one had the plastic,but i switched it to silicone right after i got it,and have used it every day for about 3 months now with no bottle problems,i don't know anything about the plastic ones though.
Mine leaks sometimes,and sometimes it doesn't haha.I haven't done the silicone seal yet though,as i don't have the right size bit to take those tiny screws out,so i just wipe it off whenever it decides to leak.

The only jelly to come out of my area is prickly pear jelly made from prickly pear cactus. Yeah they actually have fruit on them.
