You would think as much as I love both squonker and my Solo I would jump on this but one look at the bottle and it was a no go for me. Looks to be very proprietary. I am much more focused on devices I can interchange the bottles on. Also I don't do TC at all so that isn't a selling point for me. Going to pass on this one.
Was it a Sigelei or Smok Zmax? I'm curious because Smok Zmax is my preferred regular everyday mod. Did the hotspring collapse like it's supposed to? Were the cap threads stripped? Is it still functional?

Drip tips are something I did a massive order of last month from Fasttech. So easy to forget them and so easy to lose them. I was happy though as for 510s my favorites are the ones that came with the original subtank mini and they had them in both the metal and the plastic. Yeah I went a little nuts on those with 20 finiding their way into my cart.
I also stocked up 20 or so various drip tips for 810s. As many of the squonk attys I have been getting recently use those. If worse came to worse though years ago I picked up the little adapter to convert an 810 to a 510 so I could use the 510 drip tips on the 810s if necessary.

You know I can't let a good sale go to waste so I got on ejuices.com. I bought my Mom a minifit kit with (3) 3-packs of pods for 9 total. I'm going to get her setup for a pod system and see if she likes it. Even if she vaped a little to replace her smoking I would be happy. So with the kit, 9 pods, and one small bottle to get the order to $40...coupon kicked in and my total was $27.90.
It was a really old Zmax, I think it was before the Sigelei. It was a tube mod with very thin metal and only took 18650 batteries unless you had end caps (sold separately) that allowed you to stack two 18350's. I went through 6 of them in about 6 months, the electronics went bad on all of them except the one where the battery blew up. Unfortunately I had bought them like a year before I started using them, so they could not be returned. Offhand I cannot remember what I did with it, I either tossed it out or I tossed it in a bag of doomsday parts even though it probably would have still worked. My wife still uses the 18350 version of it, hers is the Z-max Mini and she has never had an issue with it (I have a 2 or 3 of those still in the box). It's strange that all of mine (the 18650 mods) died and hers (the Mini's) were fine, because the electronics look identical and they came out at the same time.
EDIT: Also, I do not think the spring collapsed as it should have, but it probably would not have made a difference as the torn wrapper on the side was most likely the issue.

Don't feel bad about old gear. I still have a Vamo and it still works. It was my first Variable mod. Mind you I can't break it down for smaller batteries anymore as I can't get one of the sections to unscrew anymore. LOL

I picked up one of those also but unfortunately the panel is bowed and doesn't fit flat. It's also a little short so the bow makes it look even worse. It got tossed in the 'last resort' stash lol.
Based on past experience with them (if he got it from vapenw), for a clearance item like that at that price point they will probably tell him to keep it and issue him a gift card in the amount of the purchase.
I actually picked up two and both had the same problem but they weren't expensive so I just added them to the stash. I tried using one briefly but kept popping off the panel when I tried to pocket it. No big loss but I thought I'd mention it so others could be aware of the possibility.

I've been living on a vaping desert island for several years. I'm not up to date. I typically use 28 or 30 awg, stainless, 0.6-1.0 resistance, TC at 420F and 25 max watts. I'm hoping to find some tanks with more than 2 ml capacity for longer drives in the car.
So far the Aegis Solo is looking promising. My perception is it will be rugged and durable. May be a good choice for a stockpile item.
Another thing I wish I could find is a 2 battery protected or TC mod wired paralell instead of serial. I believe eleaf made one several years ago that's still around but I don't like having the fire button be one entire side of the mod.
