I make that and like it but it isn't even close to DL Lemon Tart. Sure wish I could figure the original one out. That recipe needs more tartness, I should pick up some lemon sour.

Maybe folks will stop being so negative about smok. Some of their stuff is good and some not so much but to make a blanket statement to not buy their products cause they are all crap is wrong, imo.
I had bad experiences with Smok products in the past but couldn't pass up a $10 deal a while back for a silver Procolor with a Big Baby tank. I wanted the tank but the mod is actually very good and not gaudy.

I have 2 Aliens which for me refuse to die. I know others had a bad time with them but mine have been workhorses. The Baby tanks have been good for me. The original TFV4 tank and the original TFV12 tanks I have are leaky disasters. SO mixed results for me and SMOK.

Just realized that I didn't post an update about the following that I'd posted Monday, at 12:42PM.

@Haktuspit - I'm dealing with VaporL order issues as well. Ordered Nov. 2nd and have received quite a few emails, starting Nov. 7th...about 2 items I wouldn't be receiving at all, then about 3 more things they were waiting to possibly receive in 3 days and then ship to me, then later, nope...even 2 of those won't be available, etc. Received new email from them this AM about my recent request for a refund for the 5 items and the S/H I'd paid. Their proposed $ amount for my refund was correct, so I just emailed a confirmation about the agreed upon amount. Gave them 24 hours to process the refund, or I'll send PP copies of my Order Confirmation and all the emails back and forth with them since Nov. 2nd. I betcha the refund will be processed pretty quickly. They don't like dealing with PP disputes.

My refund for $44.55 was in my PP account Tuesday AM.

I've had problems with Vaporl in terms of items showing as in stock but not there after I ordered a couple times, but they've always come through with alternative products and/or refunds. I'll give them another chance if there's a great deal.

Somewhere out there
I finally have my recipe tweaked for Loudonville Wedding Cake. I really like it, not too sweet, not overbearing, I can vape this all day. I tried it with FA Vape Wizard and without. Vape Wizard does make it smooth but blocks the top notes. Will post recipe later if anyone wants to try it. It is really close to the actual flavor I remember years ago :)

Which serpent are you all referring to? The elevate, or the smm? They both look fairly simple to build, but look like the decks are quite different. They are both on sale on Wotofo’s website for 19.99.

    Elevate! :)

Sorry, I’m a little new to this tank, or else I would have specified. :)

Actually it is called the SMM Serpent Elevate (top air)
The older Serpent is bottom air.
One of the reasons I like the SMM Elevate is ALL the o-rings are common round style.
The o-rings will always be available.

That is great news, as I’m a huge fan and have another on the way for the stash. I bought several replacement glass parts for it last night. :)

I'm thinking about getting one of these after Christmas to put in my basement. If I got the taller one everything vape related would fit, including DIY.

It wont handle the moisture I don't think in a basement as it's made of MDF.

I’ve got a tall mdf cabinet in my basement where I keep all my mixing stuff and other things. It’s been there for about 15 years and it’s fine.
oh ok. I don't know I dont have a cabinet in the basement, (we dont have basements in Phoenix) and I live in the desert. I have just heard about the drab wet basements elsewhere.

Who knew. Thought it would smell like wet books and sag.
Here in western WA we are humid a lot, too, and the one shelf I had made out of that stuff was fine unless it got used as a drink shelf or eliquids spilled on it and then the finish would be compromised but structurally it was ok. Gnomes did the spilling; at least that’s my best guess, as surely I would never allow such a thing to happen. ;)

Finally bottling my 17 liters of nic, just washed the bottles and I am waiting for them to dry. I have a little anxiety about how clear the nic is going to be. I kept putting it off and I have been sitting on the bottles for like 6-8 weeks for most of them, I keep my house at 79° and for most of them they were shipped in the hot Florida weather.

My working liter normally takes 14 months to use and I keep that at room temp, but it starts to tint yellow after a few months. The bottles I bought were sealed with nitrogen, so hopefully most of the tinting happens from oxidation and not so much temperature.

I did buy a can of argon and I have silicone tape, so I guess I have that going for me. I will letcha all know if it was clear once I have finished. Probably will start in like 30-40 min once I am sure the bottles are dry.

Now I’m confused. I’m on the Wotofo site & the Elevate & SMM are 2 different tanks. Which one is more durable & less likely to leak?
