I have a few setups like that I could pull out if things got desperate. I wouldn't be surprised if some of my 510 cig-alikes still work.
I hope I never need these, but this is my "desperation" kit. Green Smoke was the first thing I tried many years ago. It didn't work for me, but I saved the unopened cartomizers I had left. The original battery died. I found the kit on the left a couple years ago..you had to pay $1 shipping. So I ordered it. It all sits in the back of my stash box...jic.

I vote for taking 1 of your Provaris and your PT2 out and giving them a try together first! They should pair well for baby steps, easing into it, from your current set-up.:)

Yes, I agree!

Learn to use the Provari, Sara. It's a great vape. It's a smooth vape. Very outdated now, compared to the current equipment, BUT...

When you use an eGo or similar device, with each vape the battery power gets less and less until it just won't work any more until you charge it again (and as the power diminishes, so does the quality of the vape). With a Provari, every vape is regulated--that is--every single vape gets the same power and gives the same vape until it warns you (by blinking) that the battery needs charging. When the button blinks, put in a fully charged battery and start over.

For safety, you will need to have at least 3-4 batteries. That's because they need to rest for a while when you take them out of your mod before charging and again resting a while after charging before you use them. Something like at least 30-60 minutes both ways so the chemicals in the batteries can settle down.

I'm basically at this point right now, not worried much about breakdown. 2L of nic is 10+ years of 10 ml per day 6mg. It could be 5mg and I would have no idea. Which is good because I don't have extra money to justify a more expensive nic purchase than $50/L right now.

I've got enough nic to last me the rest of my life, but I'm in my early 60's now. If push comes to shove, and maybe just for the heck of it anyway...I've thought about making some of my eliquids at 4mg instead of my usual 6mg. I mixed some 3mg I'd made for someone who decided not to try it, (since he subohms lower usually) with some of my 6mg, and I couldn't tell the difference then!

If you're concerned about your nic supply...maybe you both could try cutting down to even 5mg for awhile. Then, if it doesn't make a difference to either of you, later...cut down to 4mg. If you use the calculator, and input those lower mg amounts in hypothetical recipes...you'll be amazed at how many more 30mL or 50mL bottles of finished juice you can get from a L of nic base. I was certainly surprised when I did it!

If this is also true for Vamo/VTR setups I broke the crap out of that rule for a very long time and my Samsungs kept chucking.

That's the perfect time for her to use her original set-up...while the batts are resting! :D

@JCinFLA none of the nic I purchased was crystal clear. It looked clear as I was pouring into the squeeze bottle I used to dispense into the amber glass bottles. But when it was in the opague ketchup/mustard style bottle it appeared pale to slightly yellow. I was a little concerned about that but didn't have any kits to test at that time. I'm hoping it's ok.

I am sure your nic is just fine :) Through the years I've had nic several times that wasn't perfectly clear and If I couldn't see that slight color I would have never known it was there.

I have lots of different mods from mechanicals to 200Watt regulated and everything in between. My stash includes several Twist and Spinner like you are using. I could be perfectly happy if that was all that was in my stash. Unfortunately those internal battery toys won't last forever. :( I think you've made good choices for your stash to move forward with if you need to. :) I agree with JCinFLA that your Provari and PT2 will pair very well together. Lots of PT2's and coils in my stash:blush: Hope you've stashed lots too.

I think we'll be ok here in NY until the next budget year goes into effect April 1st. Hope I'm wrong, but that's when I predict we'll get hit with a huge tax on our ecigs and possibly no more internet sales/purchases. Only time will tell for certain.

    Not really.
It was a tall tale a while ago.

    FYI -

1st Class S/H option is fixed now at OSDIY Shop, for fairly small orders. I just ordered 5 of their 9mL samples and 10 6mL dropper bottles, and S/H from Colorado to FL was $3.97. So, not bad at all! It seems to go up 17 cents shipping for each additional little 9mL sample.

The correct code to use is definitely ECF. Saves alittle there, too. :D
    Super!

I just tried my new Nautilys today and need to put it in one of the new Provari's, so I know what you mean about testing out the new stuff :)

I just lowered mine from 6-7 to 3.5 and I honestly didn't notice either. Will definitely make Nic last longer.

I still rest batts off the charger because sometimes they get warm.
Yes, if batteries are warm it's better to let them cool down. But I never had warm batteries - not in charger, not when charging directly in mods. I am even surprised to hear they could get warm.

The IMR's I have get warm sometimes, I just don't trust warm straight out of the charger. These are ones I use in the Provari. Internal batts I have not had them get warm.
