I am so glad my mishap has alerted others to the possibility of auto fire with the luxotic. I feel that everyone will be much safer! Something good came out of something bad!

Its a common problem for many mods,, if it concerns you that much,, Google/ YouTube search problem for every mod before you buy it.

I had some mods with loose screws and steak knives were not tightening them good enough so they would keep working themselves out.

I wish I could have found something like what you ( @Blitzdonlife ) have in the image... On the 15th this is what I did:

I got this for the Torx:

There were cheaper options for the Torx and Hex, but I wanted sets that included the smallest size possible. Those sets had like 2 sizes smaller than all of the other sets, I may never need those, but I figured what the heck, why not?

Thanks for this. I put the first amazon link in my cart. And having the magnetic thingy...YAS! I unscrewed two grub screws too far in my zeus x the other day and they fell out. I almost didn't get them back in. This would have helped!

Harbor freight sells the sets with interchangeable bits:

For everyday use I swear by my Bondhus balldrivers for grub screws, but that HF set is handy for random shall small bits.

Oh I like this one too! Magnifying glass would be cool.

As far as mechs and regulated, I prefer regulated. I may not BE safer but I FEEL safer. Regulated offers more protections.

Me too. I have no mechs.

I haven't had any auto-fire problems as yet but I had one pv that developed a sticky fire button. I did try to save it with a small dab of alcohol but in the end I got rid of it. I think it was an iStick but I have CRS too.

They may have your number, but just have not gotten to use it yet in the sea of numbers they already have. It could happen weeks or months later, so I would definitely keep an eye on it. If your credit card company offers instant notification of purchases, I would turn that on.

My credit card company doesn't appear to offer any protections that you're talking about. I'll just call them and get a new one next week after all the sales.
