Still tossing the idea around of getting more nic. On the one hand I'm like "but what if I meet a smoker and marry her and she wants to vape" and the other is like "but what if you don't and nic doesn't last 40 years." I also really don't feel like decanting more than I already have.

Decisions decisions.
When evaluating any investment, consider the possible upside vs. the possible downside. IMO, there's far more upside potential here than downside. Upsides include a dramatic increase in value (outrageous nic tax bills have been introduced in both the House and the Senate) and the risk that the FDA will cut off high-test nic entirely, meaning the only way you'd be able to buy it after that would be to pay black-market prices for product of questionable quality. And even if you don't get married, you could be someone's nico-daddy.

The downside if you never use it or if it doesn't last 40 years? It's limited to a few hundred bucks.

Eons ago, they’re the original Picos. Someone (probably on the shinyitis thread) posted the sale. Several of us ordered them. Can’t remember which vendor, but the newer versions were out and selling well. I want to say around when the pico 75 came out? Or the squeeze maybe.
The original pico 75W came out in early/mid 2016. It was the first of the pico line and at the time probably the smallest single 18650 mod on the market. Love that little mod.

IMO there is no reason to dry burn any coil at high wattages. With regular round wire I pulse dry burn at 7-8 watts max. With 316L claptons I pulse dry burn no higher than 15 watts. I never light them up to dry burn. There is no reason to. Never had insulator damage on any atty.
If you use mechs (in my case squonkers), then you can't just dial down the wattage. But you can use a battery that's less than fully charged, and you can pulse the coil. I do both of these, but I still like to pull heat out of of the atty with a wet paper towel the moment I'm done.

Your Edit above was several pages back, but I wanted to offer an opinion on the "optimistic" rating people leave sometimes. I personally leave it at times when it seems from their post, that the person was downhearted, frustrated, and/or concerned or worried about something. I choose to leave "optimistic"...to show that I'm hopeful for that person, that things will change or work out for the better.

That Optimistic is a little ambiguous. What you say above is how I use it. And very rarely. Maybe there should be a button called Hope It Works Out For You, and another called Hope You're Right.

I want a "I can't like this because its awful but I want to acknowledge it because its important" button.

Don't mix it in with your DIY mix.
Wait until you run into tank that has a harsh bite. .. then add a couple of drops right into your tank, and shake it up.

That's basically the way I do it when needed. Works great.
Vape Wizard does basically the same thing, changes the PH.
I used to use it off and on, but it just sits in the drawer now.

SO - Glad Ya' added that tidbit of Info , especially since I was thinking about mixing-up a whole bottle today . . .

wddnzM0.gif

Given this I took the 2.5 ml tank filled with "My" Unflavored mix that I felt was a little "Harsh" - put in 1 then 2 drops of "Saline Solution" - shook it up, as suggested and waited approximately 3 mins . . . Didn't do much, so added another 2 drops of "Saline Solution" - shook that up - waited another 3 mins again . .. AND - BINGO ! ! ! Took the edge of "Harshness" right off for now . . . Going to try again next time I fill a tank up . . . Hopefully, this will be the "SOLUTION" (YES - PUN INTENDED) to fix this situation . . .

Will still give @bnrkwest suggestion a try too once I can get a bottle (WOW ! ! ! Shipping can be expensive when you just want one bottle) . . . Especially so I can have as many options available to "Me" as possible . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

AGAIN - @Slots & @bnrkwest -

- to both of you for the information . . . :D

If you are not using it and don't plan on using it - Would you like to get rid of it - If not, I understand . . . If you do, I will be more then willing to purchase it from you . . . Just send "Me" a PM so we can make arrangements . . . ;)

Shipping can be expensive when you just want one bottle)

There are many other places that sell vape wizard that might have more reasonable shipping. Try Google.

Found it at MyFreedomSmokes.com for 55 cents more than RiverSupply but they will ship via USPS First Class for $2.70

However MFS might charge you your state's sales tax but it should still be reasonable.

This is news to me. What "law on the books" is attacking or banning flavorings?

As far as I know, there is no law (proposed or otherwise) banning food flavoring, which is all "ejuice flavorings" are, right?

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Because if I am, that means I/we now have to hoard flavoring :( ???

I know this is a state-specific thing, but it always starts with one state, then...

Washington (State) banned the sale of flavored juice other than tobacco. Not sure why Gremlin decided what they did, since out of State sales shouldn't have been impacted. So, State law, not national (yet??)

It may require vendors to "re-tool" into, for example, a food flavoring outfit, and may mean they stop selling it as ejuice, so no ready-mixes, just flavors.

I have no idea why they are selling off these brands! It does seem illogical. The only thing I'm thinking is that they are imported flavorings. Who knows!

It is bizarre, considering they also sell bulk candy and candy making accessories... they have the perfect "cover" going for them. And the business name does not have anything vaping related in it. They would just need to drop like one of their brands "The Broke Vapor" because that mentions vaping in the name.

Hm. Without knowing anything outside of this post, my guess would be they are going to erase any allusion to vaping and possibly change the name of their site, and streamline their inventory.
