In fact, it looks very much like my 28-year-old one. Mine was manufactured in the Land of the Yugo Automobile (Serbia), but it's just kept freezing along with no repairs or problems.
I do suggest you get a cheapie freezer thermometer. They're $6-$8 on amazon. Inexpensive verification of your freezer's temperature setting.
I grabbed one today from bed bath and beyond for $6 I believe and was able to get the temp fine tuned in short order. Thought about getting one of the wireless ones so I could monitor it, and be sure its working, without having to go downstairs or open it but passed since it was $30.
