Call/email Geekvape and find out for us. Dying to know.

Or remove screws, shake hard and report back to us if it rattles or misfires.
I did ask Geekvape a couple months ago, but I think there was a language barrier and they did not understand my question.

I have my new tool kit in a box still shrink wrapped... if no one replies I will dig it out and then find out.

If its any help, I seriously doubt the screws are anything but to help with the cosmetics. Especially since they sell new skeletons. If it was structural they wouldnt want things to go out of alignment when consumers replace skeletons.
Get those tools out.

Uggh... I was waiting until Friday to order so I would be sure they did not arrive on a Saturday and they just sold out. :( I wanted at least 2 of them and I would have settled for the bronzish one for $4.99 instead of the champagne gold for $6.99 but they are both sold out. I did find them for double the price (of the champagne gold): $13.49, so now I am on the fence.
Have you considered asking vendors to ship a few days later or getting a po box?

It was eightvape, I consider myself lucky that things actually ship... let alone asking them to delay shipping, they are not exactly known for their customer service. lol I wasn't expecting them to sell out of both colors, they had them both yesterday... but I should know better as that is not the first time that waiting caused me to miss out on a deal.

I found my tools and took it off. Yeah, it looks like it is just cosmetic and the only purpose of the screws is for the skeleton.... but that makes me wonder how in the heck you replace the screen and the buttons... I stuck my fingernail at the top of the screen and was able to pull on it a little bit, but I did not go any further than that. I will just wait until my replacement screens arrive and see if there are tabs or something on the inside of them.

Well after using pods for two days, I can see how these would work really well for people getting off cigs that are trying to quit. As long as you have plenty to keep them charged. I'm actually glad I tried them, they are handy. The Podin is still my fav.

I’ve tried out a few pods, some are not very good, some are better. It’s not like I’d want to survive on pods alone, but they do have their uses. Right now, I’m using the Flow, a minifit, and a nod. They’re all good for a quick errand, or pocket-carry when I’m doing chores. The nord has a nice hit, it’s a nice little device but it leaks - not outside, but into the device. My first minifit died on the second charge, but the second is doing alright so far. I prefer the Flow, slow to fill but they last a long time, both the pod and the battery. Very cigarette like hit would be great for quitters.

I've actually never owned a Breeze so I don't have that to compare it to. It takes the same pods and coils though so assuming the power source works well with both there really shouldn't be much of a difference between the two.
I own a couple of the original Breeze. I bought 'em for a business trip to Europe in 2018, where I did not want to risk losing any of my good mods to an over-zealous customs official, since my good mods are not even close to TPD compliant.

The original Breeze does use the same coil heads as the Breeze II, but there are no pods. The liquid reservoir is in the device itself.

No problem. Also I forgot to mention here though I've said it before. The Breeze 2 kit comes with 0.6 and a 1.0 coil, Breeze actually comes with two 0.6. I've never tried an 0.6 assuming it was too low as the 1.0 spit liquid in my mouth sometimes so I thought that was too low. Got the 1.2 coils and it's been a gem ever since.
I don't recall what mine came with, but I bought some of each; 1.2, 1.0, and 0.6. I liked the 0.6 by far the best, which isn't a huge surprise since I normally vape mech squonkers at 0.75. The 0.6 coils also seemed to be the longest lasting. I had real issues with the 1.0 and 1.2 coils producing a burnt taste after only a few ml through them, but that may have been due to the nic salt liquid I was using then.

Now this is all with the original Breeze, so with a Breeze II, YMMV.

Oh, and I've switched to the Vandy Vape Simple EX for my take-through-customs devices.

There is a place in this world for a Pod system that just works for you. I have been using my Penguins since 2016 when they came out (on my 2nd pair, 1st pair died last year). They are one of the first of the modern pods to come out. Never leak. Good vapor production, big tank and light. Unfortunately they are nearly impossible to get these days. The successor to the Penguin(the Dolphin) is not worth messing with. Leaky and break quickly.

My Penguins were my all day mod for about a year and still are my out and about mods today. They just WORK. No muss no fuss.

I totally understand why the pod setup is so popular. I am waiting for delivery of a Ratel XS. I am hoping it fills that niche for me as it has RBA and replaceable batteries in a pod style device. After all my last 2 Penguins will not last forever.

lightFire has them in stock,a little expensive (to me) but they have them and the cartridges, and coils.

(Although maybe it is a good thing because I probably did not NEED them anyway).
I replied awhile back, sorry you didn't see it.

You weren't the reason for my waiting till a Friday to order. lol I need to order on Fridays so the odds of getting packages on Saturdays will be way less... because after the last time my wife yelled at me I do not want her to see packages and divorce me. (She is off from work on Sat/Sun)

They've got to at least be better than the cigalikes a lot of us started with. But at this point in my vaping journey, they're just not something I can ever see myself using. But more power to those who like them. That's the great thing about the current vape market (that will soon be gone) - there really is something for just about anyone who really wants to stop smoking.
They are definitely better than the cig a likes we quit with. But in this vape climate with Deeming the pod has it's limits. I have a couple replaceable batt pods but they are not tiny :) I have these for traveling and I think they will be great.

I understand :) I get grief from too many packages, but since it's my CC hubby keeps quiet LOL He totally does not get my vape stash. He always says just quit. I'm like no I don't want to :) Yesterday he saw all the empty coil boxes and said geez that's a lot! LOL

I replaced skeletons, screens, and buttons on both of my aegis minis. The screens are just held in with a sticky back foam pad. You just pry it up. Just make sure to clean around the edges before putting the new one down. I did one and it left a little piece of foam behind that covered part of one of my numbers on the display so I had to take it back off and clean that piece out.
