IMG_1320.JPG I've been trying out this little Apollo, it is about the size of the Moti but fatter and waterproof etc. it's cute for it's size and has a tank instead of pod but is pod sized. I bought a couple awhile back on sale. Glad I tried them out. It's internal batt so will keep it out and use it till it conks out :) it takes Berserker coils and I bought a bunch on 8vape for $.99 a box.

Reason to check things WHEN they come in, not when you’re ready to use it :(.....
Opened a sealed Tesla Nano. It’s missing the battery contact plate. Any idea on how to fix it? I don’t have any mods to canabalize, I don’t think. I accidentally touched the adhesive before I realized what the problem was

You might be able to cut a strip of copper and use a round punch or something to put the indentations in the copper.

Vape mail of the day...More TFV8 Baby beast coils I got cheap awhile back.

Otherwise nothing exciting going on around here today. Did a canner load of home made cranberry orange relish and have a smoked turkey in the oven for supper.

    Lazy day.

What gauge copper? I’ve got the rest of the items needed. Do you make the dimples then cut to size, or the reverse?
I cut then dimple, though either way works.

I use 22 gauge, hard, copper sheet. Hard is important - it keeps its shape, is springy, will keep the dimples; soft copper deforms easily.

The flaring tool in a home depot grommet kit its perfect for making battery contact dimples. I place the copper over a little board with a hole drilled in it a bit larger than the dimple area, tap it with a hammer to form the dimple.

Advken Dominator came in. Prebuilt heads are interchangeable with other bb- compatible tanks. The RBA that it comes with is too wide for any other bb-compatible tanks that I have, though it's pretty nice to build on. It does fit the ijoy exo-s RBA.

The rba is a nice deck. The only note is to not unscrew the posts too far - they have little springs around the screw body, a PITA to put back on.

Hey Makrfm, long time no chat.
Just dropped in to see how this thread was going. Can't believe how many pages have accumulated.
Anyway, LOL I'm still smoke free and a century deep in Nicotine.

I did end up getting vape mail today but it wasn’t from geekvape. It was some more 1.2 coils and a couple 810 to 510 adapters. Holy cow that was fast shipping. It was from an order shipped on the 9th from health cabin.

I’ll have to see which works best, but I have both a grommet maker, and a metal snap jig (for putting snaps on jeans/parkas etc)

Black's not boring it's "Classic" haha.My first one i got is black, then i grabbed a gold, orange, and then the purple.I like them a lot,but i'm still disappointed with the purple, the pictures show a fairly dark purple, but mine is more of a dark lavender haha.
J wraps has some nice stuff for these mods, but there are also endless options for aftermarket panels.SXK has a few nice panel sets, and FB is loaded with places that have some very nice ones too.
I got this set of stab wood panels yesterday, got them from a very talented guy in the Ukraine off of FB.

I'll have to look around for other panels. The one in your pic is very very nice!

My dual batt mods never leave my desk either. Which makes me wonder why I bought so many of the darned things.

It probably is if you didn't see my posts I had a Geekvape order randomly show up yesterday ordered Christmas day.

I'm so on the fence about whether or not I want to open all my yet to be used stuff.

I was too then decided it would be smarter on my part to at least check that they turn on and fire before stashing away for the long haul. That way I’m not in for any surprises down the road and the device is still under warranty. Who knows which manufacturers or vendors will still be around when I end up using it.
